1st Shift: The Beginning of the End
Life was proceeding as normal in the Hidden Mountain District. A ninja from the Hidden Glacier District sped past countless villagers towards the Kaoriugia Shrine.
GDN: I must get this message to the Kaorikage immediately.
He zooms past the guards of the shrine and heads to the top floor. He then bursts into a room labeled "Kaorikage". Six ninja of the Hero rank are standing around. The GDN sees the Kaorikage and runs up to him.
GDN: Sir! We need your help! Our village... *breathing heavily*... is under siege!
Kaorikage: By whom? *confused look*
GDN: The Hidden Canyon District and the Hidden Lava District have teamed together!
Kaorikage: I see. *calm look* Well, we'll loan you some of our ninjas. This will make the perfect Expert rank challenge for some Rookie class ninjas.
GDN: But sir! We need experienced ninjas! They won't do!
