Naomi's eyes opened, staring at the familiar seasonal shrine. She felt an odd, cold feeling brush against her skin. She noticed how dark it was around her. Yes, it was night, but... the stars weren't out. Other grey star kids were staring at the sky as well, some holding on to the other from fear.
"Naomi!" Naomi jumped as Skylar appeared behind her yet again. "You can't just run away from me after snapping at me like that!"
"What do you want from me?" Naomi whined.
"I want you to see how your choice is going to affect us all. We're going to Vault."
"And what if I don't want to?" Naomi puffed out her chest.
"Then you're going to prove my point even further. That you're nothing but a selfish brat."
"I'm not!"
"Then go do Eden!"
"No!"
"Then we're going to Vault!" Skylar screamed, shoving Naomi close to the Vault portal. Naomi tried to shove her back, but after another shove from Skylar, she was already in the portal.

Naomi was now being dragged up the stairs by Skylar. Naomi purposefully dragged her feet, just to annoy Skylar even more.
"Stop being so annoying!" Skylar hissed, yanking her arm. Naomi tripped on one of the stairs and fell on the ground. Skylar continued to yank her arm until Naomi got up again.
"Everything looks fine here!" Naomi scoffed as they walked to the elevator platform.
"Yeah, cause we're at the very bottom. If Home has already been affected, I'm mortified to how the rest of Vault looks. The poor people who live at the top..." Skylar's voice drooped, as a wave of pity crashed over her. Naomi felt her stomach sink again, more guilt streaming in.
As they finally walked into the large room, the elevator wasn't there. It was resting on the second level.
"Well, it seems there's people still going up," Naomi sneered. Skylar rolled her eyes. The two noticed the neat tents that were resting on the outer parts of the room. Except, all the sky kids were standing outside of the tent, running around and playing, while the teachers were all congregated by the biggest tent at the back of the room. They all had worried expressions splattered across their faces.
"Let's go talk to the teachers, then," Skylar roughly shoved Naomi's arm forward before the two walked over to the stressed teachers.
As they walked up, all three of the four teachers glared down at the two, Naomi specifically. One teacher seemed to still be in the tent.
"You. You're the reason behind this, aren't you?!" One with a semicircle ponytail spat at Naomi, leaning down as she spoke.
"Huh?"
"Cool it, Vivian," A teacher with a calm, toned voice held her hand up at the semicircle ponytail teacher, who was apparently named Vivian. "Don't harass one of the children based off of gut feelings. We have to make sure it actually is their fault."
"Eh?! You all have a gut feeling against me?!" Naomi scoffed, offended.
"We're Vault teachers, of course we do, you brat!" Vivian crossed her arms. Naomi held her tongue from cursing back.
"Enough, Vivian," A very old man tone spoke. His voice cracked and his beard was quite long and pointy. He surprisingly had no hair at the top. "Before the twin Elders come for your throat."
"I wouldn't mind if it was taken from her." The cool-voiced teacher laughed. Naomi felt at peace as the woman laughed, fighting the need to laugh along with her.
