I was at my house, and it was Lily's second birthday. I had my family over, but nobody else. I was eighteen and had a two year old. Lily was getting so big. She had such long, blonde, beautiful hair now. She could say uncle and Grammy and pappy now, but she said, "untle", "gammy" and "pap-pap". She could say "untle Mitey" for Michael, "untle tawum" for calum, and "untle Aston" for Ashton. She now said daddy and mummy instead of dada and mama. She knows how to say her full name, but she says "Wiwy Abidail Hemmins". I have showed her pictures of each of the boys, and Liz, Andrew, Jack, and Ben. She calls Liz is nana and Andrew is pappy Andy. She can say uncle Ben pretty well, but she calls Jack "untle Jat". She says "Aunt Ceweste" for Celeste. She has been very progressive in her language in the past year. She went from saying dada and mama as her only words, she now says about two or three word phrases. I'm proud of her.

I still, of course, lived with Jordyn, and I was still waitressing. I was out of school, though. I hadn't talked to Luke at all since the time he Skyped me about a year ago and met Lily. I figured he was busy with the band, and I got it. It was okay. I still did miss him, though.

We were at our house with our family for Lily's birthday party. Jessica, her husband and kids, Jordyn, her boyfriend, Jack, Mum, Dad, my grandparents from both sides, a few of my aunts and uncles, and my cousins were here. They all had helped me with Lily at one time or another. I was thankful to have all of them. Without them, I wouldn't have been able to support me and Lily. If it was babysitting, toys, diapers, or just money, they all helped, and I appreciated all of it.

Lily got her presents from the table, then sat on the floor. She opened them one by one, carefully taking the wrapping paper off like she was going to keep it. She got some more toys (just what she needs..) and some pull ups since I was trying to potty train her. She got a lot of other things, but once she was done with her presents, she had me take them to her room so she could have cake.

I took the presents to her room and just sat them on the floor. I walked back downstairs to the counter where the cake was. Lily was already standing there, waiting.

"Mummy, cut" she told me.

"Okay," I took the knife and sliced through the cake and got a little piece for her. I put it onto a plate, and she took a bite after grabbing the cake with her hand. I laughed at her, but she did love cake. She finished her slice, then I gave out to everyone else. Lily then wanted another one, but I told her she luke have more later.

It was 12pm, right before lunch, and I had ordered pizza. I knew it was weird to have cake before lunch, but I didn't care. Nobody else seemed to care. Everyone got pizza, then I took a piece and cut it up for Lily. She devoured the pizza then asked for more cake. I gave in and gave her another small slice.

Everyone stayed at our house for another hour or so. They were talking, and I go to catch up with some of my cousins that I hadn't seen in about three years. Two of them were girls, 15 and 17, and they said that Lily was so cute. They wondered who the dad was. I whispered in their ear that it was Luke. They freaked out.

"Oh my god, I love him!! You dated him!?" Hannah, the one that is 17, said.

"Yeah, you didn't know?" I asked.

Holly shook her head no, and we started talking about the band. I told them stories of Luke and I, when we were together, and I told them funny stories about what Ashton did at practices. They were really interested. I told them that I could get them autographs the next time I saw them, but I didn't know when that was going to be. They told me they would love that, and I said I could maybe even have them meet them. I could take them to Sydney as their Christmas present. They loved that idea.

They swore not to tell anyone about Lily's dad being Luke. I remember Liz saying that I needed to tell him, but I was giving him time to have fun with the band, and I was waiting for the right time.

Soon after I talked to them, Hannah and Holly left along with my aunt, uncle, and my other cousin, Haden. My grandparents left. Jessica and her family was next to leave. Jordyn's boyfriend then left. His name was Tristan. He was a huge help when it came to Lily. He loved kids. He was perfect for Jordyn. My parents and Jack left last.

Once it was just Jordyn, Lily, and I, it was 2:15pm. I was already tired, and I was only halfway or not even halfway through the day. I laid down on the couch when Lily came up to me with one of her new toys and asked me to play. I got off the couch and played with her. I loved playing with Lily. She wasn't a boy, so there wasn't any wrestling or fighting. It was just usually cute tea parties or playing with stuffed animals. When she wanted to play, she would have a toy in her hand and say, "mummy, play". I thought it was so cute and so impressive how many word she was using.

We were sitting on the floor playing tea party when the doorbell suddenly rang. I walked over to the door, and then opened it. There stood Luke.
