You and Kindaichi start walking to a table at the back where Kindaichi's friend is sitting at. You guys started to get closer and closer when you realized that the guy sitting there was the one you bumped into in the morning.
"Here." says Kindaichi.
Kindaichi sits beside his friend and you take a seat in front of them.
"Kunimi meet y/n, y/n meet Kunimi."
"It's nice to, uh, see you again" you nervously say.
"Yeah" Kunimi responds with his dull tone once again.
"You guys have met before?"
"Well, kinda, yeah" you chuckled nervously, "you see, I bumped into him this morning while I was heading to class... Sorry about that Kunimi" you said looking down.
"It's alright don't worry. By the way, you dropped this." he hands you your small bag of caramel candies.
"Omg, I didn't notice that I dropped this! Thank you so much, Kunimi!" you gave him a small smile.
"Oh, it's nothing," he said, giving you a small smile that made you blush a tiny bit.
Time passed by while you, Kindaichi, and Kunimi ate lunch together.
"So y/n, are you planning to join a club?" asked Kindaichi.
"Well, I don't really know, I mean I was the manager for the boy's volleyball team in Nekoma because my two best friends were on the team."
"You should become our manager!" Kindaichi said looking over at Kunimi, which he nodded, then looked back at you.
You thought about it for a while then finally responded, "You know what, I'll apply as the team's manager." you said with a smile.
"Kunimi, you kind of remind me of one of my friends from Nekoma! His name is Kenma. I really miss him.." you told Kunimi.
"That's cool, I guess" responded Kunimi when suddenly the bell rang meaning lunch was over.
The three of you packed up and started to walk to class.
"Cya later, Kunimi!" you smiled and waved at him.
"Cya." he waved back as you both entered your class.
You sat down at your desk and then class started.
