Come on, say something, Alex begged her silently. She seemed to be deep in thought for a few seconds and then suddenly, she smiled brightly at him.
"Sure, let's do that. You don't have to buy, but I wouldn't mind some company. I was about to do a lot more day drinking and that's really not too much fun all alone."
He smirked at her bluntness. Day drinking with purpose. He wondered what that was all about.
They returned to the bar and he pointed to a table in the back, where his friend Trey was already sitting and waiting in front of a beer.
Delila got her bag and phone, Alex grabbed her plate and they made their way over to the table. The short walk through and around people and tables gave him the perfect opportunity to admire her well rounded, plump ass in those tight jeans. And what a sight it was.
Of course, Trey caught on to his not so subtle glances and was already smirking.
"Right, here we are. This is my friend and business partner Trey Black."
"Lovely to meet you." Trey responded as he stood up.
"And by the way, I am Alex.... Alex Montgomery. I swear, before our little incident, I still had my manners."
She chuckled lightly and shook both their hands with a warm and firm grip. "It's nice to meet you both.... officially. I am Delila Sterling and after a little run-in in the back, Alex invited me to join you. I hope I am not intruding?"
Her bright smile was directed at Trey, and of course Alex could see that he was more than happy to have her with them. Quickly he pulled out a chair for her and watched her sit down. Towering over her from behind gave him a complete set of new views and ideas.
"You are not intruding anything. And beautiful company is always more than welcome."
Way to lay it on thick, bro, Alex thought after hearing Trey trying to charm her right away. He tried to give him a stern look, but of course he conveniently only had eyes for her. Even though he could totally understand why, he didn't like it... at all.
"Well then, what can I get you, Delila?"
She turned to face Alex, and damn, that look from under those thick lashes did things to him.
"I already started with Gin and Tonic, so why change a good thing? But maybe a club soda too? Thank you."
"Alright, I will be right back. And Trey, behave!"
Of course, that fucker only raised an eyebrow at him and grinned. Alex turned towards the bar and started to pray that the bartender was quick on his feet and fast with his hands.
....
What a nice turn of events. Delila was quite content with how the day had progressed. If she disregarded her still a little sore nose, this afternoon sure had gotten more interesting by the minute.
