At school, everything went fairly typical. I went to my honors classes, had lunch, went to band, then went to Spanish. But there was something not-so-typical that happened: a guy got my number. I'm not exactly a popular girl. Actually, I'm not popular at all. I have maybe two friends, if that, and we're made fun of quite a bit. It surprised me beyond words that a guy got my number. He walked right pass Gracie, our most popular girl (my ex-best friend) and up to me. Gracie stomped her foot and turned around, angry.
"Hi, I'm Luca." I looked up and behind me, thinking he was talking to somebody else. But, he kept his eyes fixed on me. I turned back around and pointed to myself with a questioning look. He chuckled, "Yes you." I felt my cheeks turn pink so I looked down while whispering, "I'm Savana." He pulled my chin up, "I couldn't hear you." I felt the blush deepen, "My name's Savana." I said, slightly louder than the first time. "Savana?" He asked, looking into my eyes. I nodded, looking back down. He took a seat next to me, "That's a beautiful name." I took a deep breath, "What do you want?" He looked offended, "I want to talk to you." I shook my head, "Everybody hates me here. You can't possible tell me you want to be friends." He shrugged, flipping his bleach blonde hair out of his eyes, "I do." I got up and walked out of the cafeteria, forgetting the blonde haired boy, until Spanish. He sat next to me in Spanish, "Hey Savana. I was wondering... Can I have your number?" I was really confused. It took a while for him to get it out of me, but he did get it. And, as he promised, he texted me after school. I just ignored it though.
I got another text and decided to answer it this time.

I turned off my phones screen and went to help my sisters with their homework and then an open house for the adoption home. This should be fun.
