It's the next day. Last night Damon and I killed Julian Tanner. And I didn't even care. I felt care free.

Damon and I are at Caroline's. I'm helping her pick a dress.

Caroline put on a yellow dress. Then looked at Damon and I.

Damon was laying on the bed reading while I was sitting next to him

"No yellow. Jaundice. Go for the blue." Damon said

"I don't like the blue." She said as she gets the dress off.

"Oh, wait go for the pink one! I can wear the matching blue one. We can twin." I tell her.

"Oh, yes! Good thinking." She tells me

"Well I'm a smart cookie. Oh cookies. do you have cookies?" I asked her

"Yeah it's in the secret cabinet." She tells me

I go to her kitchen and grab the container of cookies and take them to her room

"What's so special about this bella girl. Edward's so whipped." Damon says as caroline changes into the black dress

"You gotta read the first book first. It won't make sense if you don't." Caroline tells him as I eat a cookie

"I think, she just wants attention." I say as I finished chowing on the cookie

"Just like Elena" Caroline said and I laughed at that

"Hey, how come you don't sparkle?" I asked Damon

"Because I live in the real world, where vampire burn in the sun" he tells me

"Wait you're a vampire?!" Caroline whisperer yelled

"Oh, crap! I forgot to talk to you about this. I knew I was forgetting something." I said

"How come you're so cool with this snow?! He could like eat us!" She tells me

"Remember caroline he's my soulmate, and Damon promised me to never hurt the people I care about. That includes you." I tell her.

"Oh okay. Anything else I should know about?" She asked me

"No one can know about this. No one. Also I got you a ring that protects you from being brainwashed my vampires" I tell her as I looked in my bag for carolines ring

"Well duh I'm not going to tell anyone. I mean you guys are perfect I don't want to ruin that." She tells us

"Ah ha I found it. Here's the ring. And thank you for being my best friend Care bear." I tell her as I hand her the ring

"Thank you for being my best friend snowflake." She tells me as she puts the ring on.

"Is this going to head under the sheets because I would like to see that." Damon said.

Caroline and I rolled our eyes and hit him with a pillow

Damon then pushes me on the bed laying on top of me.

He kisses my forehead, nose and lastly my lips. Making me smile.

Caroline scoffs

"You guys are so cute, it makes me physically sick." She tells us

"But you love us" I tell her with a smile trying to look innocent

"No argument there. You guys are my best friends." Caroline tells us
