I sat in the far corner of my Entrepreneurship class. My teacher was too busy trying to get the students to calm down so i had one headphone in listening to The Weeknd; Remember me, While i finished the daily worksheet.

"I hate the fact that we have to sit in a class full of premature teens" Rhea complained beside me. "I mean i come to school to try to get an education and these small-minded pricks have to ruin it"

"Rhea, This has been happening since the beginning of what... 6th grade we've been with the same asshole's for seven years nothing is new" I answered quickly.

Rhea wasn't the type to complain but she had her moments. i personally dont know why she's complaining now. She would usually be the ringleader for the havoc caused in class. Rhea rolled her eyes ignoring my pervious statement.

I looked over at Rhea as she continued to voice her complaints loud enough for everyone to hear. I guess you could say i picked the most obnoxious person as a bestfriend but we've been friends since 5th grade, you dont just let those type of friendships slip threw your hands. I stared at her dark complexion which i loved, i was of a lighter complexion but i aways loved the way her dark skin would glow.

"What are you staring at?" She laughs poking my nose "starings fucking rude"

"so is putting your nasty ass hands in people's faces" i shoo her hand out of my face.

"Class!" Mr. Wilke speaks up "dont forget about our trip to New York tomorrow to visit the Trevino Hotel chains"

"Why are we going their again?" James, the class idiot asked.

The teacher sighs hard trying to keep himself composed, he has answered the Why are we going to the Trevino Hotel question many times before and even had it on permission slips.

I slipped in my other headphone as he begun explaining the reason for us going. The reason for us going is we're in Entrepreneurship which is a class that helps students develope business skills and there is no better plalce to learn business skills then from the Trevino's probably the richest family in this part of the U.S.

My phone pinged with a text.

"Sorry" i smiled up at Mr. Wilke, he didn't seem to notice the sound my phone made, or maybe he didnt care.

It was a text from my mother.

Your sad excuse for a father is coming this afternoon to drop off your shoes, he wants to see you so make it home in time.

I ignored the text, i dont agree with her at all, he is the best father in the world. He helps me whenever and where ever i may need him, just the pain of him leaving still really hasn't set, it's been two years since my mom and father got divorced. The reason of why is still unknown to me. I always thought it was because my great-grandfather didnt like the idea of interractal couples and like Rhea, always voiced his opinion about it, which led to fights and nights on the couch. Maybe i was wrong.

I guess you could say that's why my great-grandfather wasn't my biggest fan. He pushed me away as a child and even as a 17 year old teen he still doesn't seem to accept me. We live in the 21st century what asshole doesnt get with the times. I guess old habits die hard.... extremely hard.

"i'll see you on the bus at 8 tomorrow" Mr. Wilke finished off and the bell rung shortly after that.

"Is Hunter coming on the trip too?" Rachel asked as she tapped my shoulder. "i heard a bunch of the football players are staying home and just going over Tyler's house"

"i think their going, he told me he was" i shrugged a bit trying to remove the feeling her finger left behind. "I hope he does i need a distraction"
