"Upset? I'm not upset. You have no idea how much pain I'm in. It's like being cut open every day, bleeding onto the stones. I can't understand how any of you failed to see the blood..."

From the corner of your eyes the bright beams of sunlight had finally reached the cardboard box you had fallen asleep in through the little slit on the side. You slowly opened your eyes in frustration. " Stupid sun! Why can't you just let me sleep in for once!" you spat to yourself. It rained last night, who knows how long, all you know the day could've atleast had a better start.. As you got up to stretch you let out a huge yawn, while your bones ached from sleeping the wrong way. You sighed, mumbling to yourself you step out of the box and made your way out into the cold of leaf-fall. You scanned the area slowly, examining how different the area looked from ealier, before the rain. its not that you hate the rain, its just wet and cold don't mix together so well. You assumed it would just another typical day for you. Waking up, looking for breakfast, usally failed to find it, then basically just went to sleep after countless hours of wondering around wasting your day. though today you wouldn't have to worry about the sun being in your face. Often it would interfere with your hunting, even if there were trees blocking out light most of the times. At least that was the excuse you liked to use..
You were a fairly younge loner just starting out own your own, it was scary you had to admit... being out here on your own, you could say it had and unsettling feel to it. Often you would run into other rogues, often being unpredictable, you always had to be cautious out on your own. You knew you weren't very good at fighting, unfortunatly. So you just made sure to keep you distance from other cats, and tried not to start any fights. While you were lost in meaningless thought your stomach made a loud groan. Snapping you back into realization, that you haven't eaten a single thing today. You quickly scanned the area, at first the place seemed unfamilar, but then you realized you were on the outskirts of the clan cats territory. You've heard many stories about them from tales a mother might of told to keep their kits from wondering off. They seemed pretty stuck-up and violent from what you've heard. Appearently the believe in this so-called Starclan, that grant clan leaders nine lives, but of course kits would only believe in something as stupid as a cat having nine lives!... Honestly I can't quite rember the rest, its not like i was really listening to those stupid kit stories anyway... All I know is that those cats from the stories, are real, whether everything said about them was true or not. I still plan on keeping a mighty good distance away from their territory.
You took a few steps foward trying to see if you could pick up the scent of any prey. Luckly for you you caught a wiff of rabbit, and close too from what you could tell. Before you decided to follow the scent trail you decided to check and see if you could pick up on the scent of any nearby cats, the last thing you wanted was to run into a clan patrol! From what you could tell the coast was clear! As you followed the sent trail you wander deep into the forest, a part you've not yet explored. You didn't worry about it too much though, you were far to hungry to even care. A matter a fact you couldn't even recall the last time you ate, let alone had a decent meal. As you recalled all you've been able to eat lately was stinken crow-food! It made you sick just thinking about that awful taste! Although the thought of sinking you teeth into a nice juicy rabbit made you quiver with excitement! When suddenly you heard the sounds of twigs snapping and leaves rustling on the ground. In that instance you spotted the rabbit you've been hunting. You got into your hunting crouch, you knew even though you weren't very good at hunting you had to catch this prey. You couldn't screw this one up! This might be the last chance you have to eat.. If you couldn't catch this rabbit- well I doubt I'd get the luck of finding any other prey. Not during this time of year, its getting rather chilly and most of the prey have started hiding in their dens. Which are deffintatly to small for something as big a cat, even as thin as me being right now- to be able to fit in! Besides if I didn't eat soon I wouldn't even have the strength to walk.. Realizing how serious my situation was I once again focused on the rabbit. I waited there very patiently for the right moment to strike, using ever ounce of my strength to contain my excitement from pouncing in that instant, which would take the risk of scaring pray off. Finally I sprang, my heart skipped a beat, for a moment I thought I had missed. But when I looked down, I had sucessfully caughten my prey. I was immedently overwhelmed with joy! It was truely an amazing feel, there was nothing better in the world that I could of asked for.
