Oslo was up early one particular day when he noticed the fishes swimming hurriedly away from among some reeds that grew at the end of the pond, at first he just cautiously looked around, but when he observed frank swimming for dear life and screaming run oslo run,he slid off the stone and took to the water,he quickly overtook frank who was quite out of breath,'what is it frank,' he asked,to which frank just replied 'swim boy swim, and oslo swam and they both dived under their rock with seconds to spare as a rather large shadow passed lazily over head, frank then explained that they had sighted an alligator, a rather large one,he hoped that she would move on shortly as it appears that she was on the search for the ideal location to lay her eggs, frank shuddered as he thought of all the young gators that might be in his future, thankfully after some three days of checking out the pond and looking at various locations, including their rock the gator decided to move on,she did try to eat frank but didn't seem to much care for his hard shell, especially as a rather large fish swam by at that exact time, oslo felt sorry for the fish but was glad frank was ok, to this day he still remembers those cold yellow eyes as they sized him up while trying to swallow frank. Oslo knew this wasn't a perfect world, but it was the one he was born in, every day was filled with danger and he always had to be on his guard but for all that he loved his life and he still thinks that this is still a beautiful world.
