"I swear to God Por!" Tay said angrily to his dad. "I'm a 29 year old man. I work out. I don't care about your business enemies I do NOT need a baby sitter!" This was easily the 10th time they had had this conversation in the past week alone. "Think about Baby then Son please." Tay's Father said in a pleading tone. "Can you protect her too? You know how bad things were, hell I had to ship you two off to my brother in Japan for a whole year til things blew over. You two are the only things that matter to me Tay, I need you to both be happy and healthy. Please, just think about it." He finished and ended the call. Now that Tay was feeling like a complete asshole he looked around the coffee shop he stood in until he spotted Mild.

"Why do I always get so snappy with him Baby?" He said feeling very sorry for himself. "Because you're an asshole?" Mild shot back. "Also call me Baby one more time and I'll kick your ass." Mild was Tay's cousin on his Mum's side. His Mum and her Brother who was Mild's Dad died in the same car accident as Mild's Mum when they were both just kids. Tay's Por had taken her in and raised her as his own along side Tay. He doted on her and had dubbed her his Baby and Tay loved nothing more than teasing her with her pet name. He loved her like a sister though and the thought of her getting hurt was sickening.

"Sorry." He said clearly not feeling all that sorry. "Look Tay, I know you don't like anyone helping you out but just let him have his way this once. He loves us and he's scared of losing us. Even you should be able to under that..." She said going to give Tay a hug. "Plus look on the bright side, it could be a hot guy for you or a hot girl for me!" She said huffing a laugh. "Uhh fine. I'll do it so I know you'll be safe." He conceded "But this is the only way he's getting involved. This is OUR business and it's 100% legit with money we worked our asses off for. I don't want any of his dodgy associates getting involved."

Mild smiled and kissed his cheek. "You know you're not a total asshole some times Bro." She said. "I'll let Por know we've agreed then." She said skipping off to get get her phone. Tay shook his head, smiling fondly, she was savage. The bell above the door rang as Off walked in. "Well this doesn't look as shitty as I'd imagined." He said waving a greeting at his friends. "Fuck you!" I'm your boss now, show some respect." Tay said with a huge grin. The three of them had been friends forever and Off was the first one apart from each other they had come out to, he was like the third musketeer and they both adored him. "Cheeky!" Off said with a smile "I'm here to help your sorry ass. You should show me some gratitude! Unless either of you have miraculously learned how to use a coffee machine in the last 12 hours since we spoke..." Off said.

Tay hugged him briefly and patted his back."You're right, thank you oh wise one for teaching us two idiots." Tay said sarcastically. "The only two idiots here are you guys." Mild chimed in. "Now shut up both of you. Tay help me look through the applications while Off makes us a coffee and then he can help too." She said authoritavely so of course her 'brothers' did as they were told. Off soon came to the table with 3 amazing drinks. "Caramel Macchiato for the lady." Off said placing the drink in front of Mild "One boring ass Americano for Tay and a heavenly Latte for me." He said serving the final 2 drinks.

Mild took a sip of her drink "If you were a woman I'd marry you..." she said keeping a completely straight face. "While I'm flattered..." Off began, only to be interrupted by Mild saying "I was talking to the coffee idiot." She said with a grin. "Working together is going to be so much fun!" Tay said making the whole group smile. "Then get back to work." Mild said shoving an application under his nose. "I take it back." He said pulling tongues at her. They were looking for 3 members of staff to start with. 2 who could bake and serve food and drinks and 1 who could use the coffee machine.

The only other requirement was that they could act as part of a same sex couple which is were a lot of applicants fell short. Obviously they should have known it was going to be BL themed place, it said so right in the job advert but only 30 out of the 100 applicants had ticked the box saying they were comfortable with the acting side of the job. Which narrowed down the second round of interviews significantly, then by looking at past experience and checking up on references from past employers they whittled it down futher. They had the final five applicant set to arrive in 30 minutes giving them a chance to talk again about what exactly they were all looking for in an employee.

The five applicants today were Oab, Zee, Saint, Gun and New. They all arrived on time which was a good start and the second round of interviews began. Off took everyone's orders and as Zee and Oab were all supposedly coffee experts he led them to the machine letting them each make some drinks. While they were busy with Off Tay and Mild chatted with Gun, Saint and New. As their kitchen in the cafe was still under construction they had been asked to prepare a selection of treats while filming themselves then bring the treats for them to sample. Tay and Mild quickly scanned through the videos again that had been emailed earlier while Saint, New and Gun served them up for everyone. Once the drinks and snacks were served they all sat down to try out their work and talk about their futures.
