Allister laughed before turning to his buddies and his small new comrade. He smiled at her and laid down on his back completely. "So, little princess, what's your name hmm? Do you have a story?"

"Allister, don't be rude." Zahara shook her head.

"No, Allister is right. We best get some kind of information from and about her since we are on this mission. First off, My name is Ryu Saito, I am 17 years old. That lady back there is Zahara Johnson, she is currently 19 years old. That red hair boy with a bunch of energy is Allister Douglas, he is 15. We are your escorts from the Fobbin Vikings Guild. We were sent to escort and protect you until we got to HazelTon, as you requested of course. Though, we have no idea what we are protecting you from, and why."

The small girl looked down into her lap, jumping a bit as the carriage went over a rock. Her adorable red eyes twinkled until she finally opened her mouth to speak. "My name is Princess Asmaria Viticus, I am only 9 years old. My Father and Mother were slain just a night ago while we spent a small holiday together. I tried every Guild I could to get some help but no one answered, other than you all. My big sister stays in HazelTon, it was the first place I thought of, I really need to hurry there."

The girl's words came out quick but sad, her small hand in a fist as she gripped her blue dress. Allister watched as her eyes swelled with tears, and they slowly started to fall, staining her pretty clothes. Allister looked down, he knew how it felt to have your family be taken away from you. He sat up and picked up the girl from under her arms and sat her in his lap. He had her face him, and he wiped her tears away with her thumb. Zahara made her way next to Allister and ran her thumb against her cheek. They both smiled at the girl.

"Hey don't worry, you are safe with us. We are gonna get you to your sister, and better yet, we are going to get justice for your parents." Allister spoke up, petting her hair. The small girl nuzzled into his hand, before looking down.

"Thank you, but you shouldn't get wrapped up in my family business, especially since we are demons. Just please, take me to my sister." The small girl's voice shook as she spoke upon her race, and her tiny fist hit against Allister's chest to push herself away. She shook her head in dismay and started to cry again.

"Hey, you bein a demon don't faze me none! I could care less about race and stuff. I wanna help you get justice... cause well, I want to I guess, don't really need a reason. I think it's just the right thing to do?" Allister smiled, a large toothy grin as he patted her back to get her to look at him again. "None of us care about race really. You're a kid that needs help, and we are from a Guild that taught us to help anyone in need, no matter what. So, that's what we'll do."

The girl looked up, a twinkle in her eyes as the light hit off of them, and for a second, they looked pink. Her face flushed and grew a darker red, as she smiled brightly, jumping into a hug. She wrapped her small around Allister's shoulders and hugged him tightly. The red-haired boy fell onto his back but hugged her as well, Zahara only smiled and giggled. Ryu listened to everything that went on and only smiled. This was expected of Allister, he always had a way with words.

The journey went on without much of a problem, and as they continued through the prairie-like land, the sun blazed down upon them with no mercy. Allister growled, pulling his vest off and started to unbutton his shirt. Zahara immediately went to cover Asmaria's eyes and glared at him.

"You can't do that in front of a child!"

Allister raised his eyebrow and sighed, letting his shirt go as two buttons had already been popped. "But it's hoooooot!"

"There isn't much shade around, and there aren't any clouds in the sky. Though, you all have at least the covering from the carriage. I have nothing to shield me from the rays." Ryu spoke up, as he wiped some more sweat from his forehead. Allister rolled his eyebrows and laid sprawled out against the carriage floor.
