The morning air hit his face like chilled spikes, as he thrusted another fist through the fall air. A soft sigh came from the boy, as he threw another fist. It was like this every morning. As early as dawn, the red hair boy would come running outside to begin training. His freckled face would be pink and red by the time he was done, due to the fall air. Even though he was cold he couldn't feel it due to the sweat that was falling from his head and down his chin.
"Allister!" The boy who was out in the backyard of a house, stopped and turned to the girl at the backdoor of their small home. He made a confused face as he turned to her and scratched the back of his red hair. The girl at the door, placed her hands on her hips and scowled. "Enough training, I told you yesterday we had a mission today, so we needed to leave early!"
The boy jumped. He had once more forgotten about something important. He happily smiled as he looked the girl over. Zahara Johnson. A dark skin female with long black hair and golden eyes, her hair was straight and stopped at her waist. She had small tattoos under her eyes that were just two small swirls coming from her almond shaped eyes. She was wearing a black one piece that were shorts, a cropped jacket that hung off her shoulders, and buttoned below her breast for support. She wore black and yellow boots, and on her head was a witch's hat, she had her signature black, gold, and red cloak in her hand. She frowned at him harder.
He sighed and raced to her and smiled. Allister was shorter than Zahara, so he had to look up to her. He smiled and tilted his head, his messy long red hair moving as he did. His big green eyes were apologetic yet pleading.
"Aww, Zahara I'm almost at 300 punches, let me keep going for at least 15 more minutes. I'll quickly wash up and I'll meet you all in the dining hall."
Zahara shook her head, and pointed inside the house, and without another word she waltzed inside. Allister sighed, cracked his neck, and raced in. The boy wasn't upset, zahara was always like this when there was a mission. He made his way to the bathroom to bathe, but stopped seeing a boy with long dark blue hair step out of the room, a towel around his waist. Ryu Saito! Allister immediately smirked and held his nose.
"Gross Ryu, your wet fart sticks!" Allister laughed with his eyes closed, and pointed at him with his free hand.
Ryu Saito was much taller than Allister, he had a slight tan, and long dark blue hair that was currently being put in a ponytail. Ryu sighed, as the scales on his skin moved and changed colors against the sun that shone through the window. He took the towel that was around his neck, and twisted it, before wiping it, and let it go towards Allister.
"OW!"
The smack was loud enough to cause the birds on the gate around their home, to fly off. Ryu would smirk at Allister, before throwing the towel on Allister's head. Allister rubbed his stomach on the left side as he grimaced.
"You're the one to talk about smells, you smell like sweat and trash."
"I was training! Hurry out the way before Zahara kills me, I have to get ready." The peach skinned boy would then try to push the taller male out the way. Ryu happily moved and walked to his room. Allister would sigh, before starting to get ready for the day.
"The mission is just an escort mission? That's boring, when are we going to get a s-class mission?" Allister sighed as he looked around the market.
The three had gone to the Guild and retrieved their mission. They were now walking around to find the person that needed an escort as the heat blazed down on them. The market was busy and bustling like always, and Allister kept getting distracted by all the delicious looking food. Zahara held the scroll with the mission written on it with, up and made a confused face.
