Y/N's POV
I ran, what fool I made myself!? "Y/N please!" I ignored the cries that came from Peter, I didn't wanna talk to anyone at the moment. That's when I smelled smoke, I wasn't cooking anything. I looked up at the sky and saw large clouds of black smoke up high in the air...no. I ran as fast as I could to my hut, when I got there the place was clouded in fire. "No..." I say quietly, I fell onto my knees as I watched my home burned into ashes. I screamed at the sky before leaning to the ground and cried myself a river, how could this happen!? "Y/N!" I heard Peter shouts, I didn't pain attention, there now was this big pain in my chest, why does this always happen?! I felt someone wrap their arms around me and pulled me into there chest, it was Peter.

"It's okay Y/N, it's gonna be okay." he reassures me, I couldn't stop crying that day, with all the fire and smoke that now spread to the crops. Everything was destroyed, everything was gone, everything except for me. I'm nothing but bad luck. I slowly drifted off to sleep, I didn't want to, but I felt like I need to.

Peter Pan's POV
I held Y/N close to me, who could've done this? "Oh my god! What happened!?" I heard Tink shouts "I don't know, I just found Y/N crying on the ground. Everything they worked for, gone." I said, "And this is what you get for cutting off my hand you brutish brat." a voice said, coming from a bushes to the left. I recognized that voice anywhere "Hook!" I look to the left and seen him and his crew walking out of the bushes "Why did you do this!?" I shouted at him "Ever since you cut off my hand, I swore to avenge it, and that brat has been getting in the way!" "But he's/she's your son/daughter! How could you say such things!?" "That brat has been getting in the way ever since you cut off my hand, I just had to get rid of them!" he shouts, I held them close to my chest "Oh, so you do love the little rat. How quant." "I won't let you hurt anyone! Not even Y/N!" I shouted at him, "Ooooo! So you do love them, how... pathetic. You should know the consequences of loving someone, bad things could happen."

I growled as he drew out his sword "So you loving them was all a lie! What about your wife!?" the look on his said it all "Oh, that witch. You should know everything about pirates, I'll let you think about it." the thought hit my head harder to Y/N throwing a rock at it. "You killed their mother..." "Exactly, I was going to until she was having a child, I thought I would have another captain who take my place be the most terrifying pirate captain of the seven seas! Until that defect was growing soft, I did what I had to do." "But why would you try to kill you own son/daughter? They've done nothing!" Captain Hook looks at the ground, then looks back at me "My boy, as much as I don't want to kill my own flesh and blood, it's what a pirate does. And I plan to lead my crew to a brighter and bloodier future, but of course that little mistake keeps making the crew go soft." he says in a angry tone.

"Then why did you hide them if you hate them so much?" I said as I picked them up in my arms and stood up "That was me being merciful, I should've killed them three years ago when I had the chance." I backed away to the lost boys "Tink, Terence, get us out of here." I said, the two sprinkled pixie dust on the lost boys and they begun to fly. "I'm letting you getting away that easily!" Hook shouts as he ordered his crew to fire at us "Go! Go! Go!" I shouted at the boys, they flew out of sight only to be shot at by Hook's crew. I flew into a different direction into the dark part of the jungle. "P-Peter..." "Shhh, it's okay Y/N. I'm going to take you away from all of this, I'll protect you... I promise." they then fell back asleep.

The next morning

They've been pasted out for a while, I'm starting to think about what Hook said, does he really want to kill Y/N? If he does, I won't let him. That's when I finally realized the feelings I had for Y/N, I love him/her. I held onto Y/N tightly in my arms. "P-Peter..." "You okay Y/N?" "What happened when I fell asleep? Where is everyone else?" "Hook burned down everything, we had to split up from the others to keep you safe, Hook wanted to kill you." Y/N's face now shown horror "Wh-why?" "He said he killed your mother, and wanted to kill you too for getting in his way." tears spilled from his/her eyes "I thought he loved mom, apparently I was wrong, he's not the man I thought he was..." "Hey, hey, hey, hey. It's not your fault, it's all his. You're an amazing guy/girl who has their whole life ahead of them." Y/N gets up and hugs me "Thank you Peter, I don't know what I'd do without you." "Probably do your same routine for the rest of your life." Y/N giggles and breaks the hug "What do we do now?" I thought about this for awhile "Maybe this?" I kissed their soft lips, I could tell they were shocked, but they then kissed back.

All this time, I'd thought I would never find love because it was what grownups did, but that all changed when you came into my life Y/N. You made me feel something I'd never thought I would have... and that's love. I will do anything to protect you, to make you happy, to make you mine.
