Sapphire (Avian)

(With the picture, I didn't make the base, but altered it and coloured it to look like Sapphire. (I don't know who made the base, but if I did, I would give them credit.)

Sapphire is an Avian, a mythical creature @Elktric made up. (See @Elktric 's Gide to Avians.)

Instead of writing it all again, here is the sheet I made when I first created her:

Pelt: pale blue/dark blue

Feathers: dark blue

Eye colour: green

Appearance: more cat- like than bird- like, the only bird-like thing about her is her feathery wings. She has aqua blue fur and dark blue wings and dark blue socks on her front legs. Sea green eyes, but her whole eye is covered in a kind of faded grey

Accessories: none

Personality: calm, very observant, kind of odd, kind, doesn't have many friends because she's too honest.

Likes: Swimming, the beach, dolphins, sunshine, her friend Splash Tail

Dislikes: her parents, wind, flying, being alone

Strengths: swimming, diving, making things

Weaknesses: fighting, flying, hunting,

Lives: the tropics near a beach

Father: Sand Wing - alive

Relationships: none

Other information: Sapphire is strange because of what happened to her egg. Aquam Avian eggs need to be kept warm, but Water Paw lost her egg and it ended up in the ocean. Her parents (who are dimwits and idiots) didn't care and decided it wasn't an egg anyway, it was probably a rock. Luckily they lived in the tropics and the water wasn't too cold, but she barely survived anyway. Her egg was found a few months later by Ocean Strike when he was hunting. He assumed the egg was dead, but he thought that it may have just been dropped in, so he took it home to his wife Pebble Feather, who had an egg of their own. Sapphire and Splash Tail's eggs should have hatched at the same time, but due to the cold water Sapphire's egg was exposed to, her egg hatched about a month late. Ocean Strike and Pebble Feather named her Sapphire due to the colour of her pelt. Sapphire grew up with her adopted family until Sand Wing and Water Paw relalised she was their daughter. There was nothing Ocean Strike and Pebble Feather could do, so they gave Sapphire to her real parents. Sand Wing and Water Paw pretty much forgot about Sapphire after a few weeks (they have something wrong with them) and Sapphire ran away back to Ocean Strike and Pebble Feather, who she loved as parents and lived her life happily with.

More information: Sapphire doesn't have very good vision (more repercussions from the egg- thing) but her secret is that she can see in the dark. Isn't a very good flyer and gets easily exhausted by long flying. But is still fast and agile on the ground and in the air. Can hold her breath for a lot longer than five minutes, she doesn't know exactly how long.
