Wayo POV

"As viruses does not meet the criteria of acceptable definition of life, they are considered as non-living by the virologists and this issue is argued comprehensively among researchers. Viruses act passively to the environment changes; which is classified as one of explicit trait of living organism. Furthermore, virus is known for its uniqueness on replicating themselves through hosting other living cells. They inject genome through cell wall which will hijack the machinery or common mechanism of host cell. Host cell is forced to produce viruses' new protein. Replication ends with a final process known as lysis where a bunch of new viruses burst out from host cell. The infection would not halt as new viruses host new living cell and forced them on next generation replication. This is mechanism of virus to sustain their life that lead to human disease such as chicken pox, AIDS and common flu".

Full stop. Bold. Certain. Unmoved.

Rough sound of non-stop tapping - you could hear from a mile away, or, more probably sound of keyboard being sexually harassed by a little shorty boy, Yo.

Anger?

"Of course I'm on fire. It is not my fault at the first place. If only that old man did not flirt with me, I won't get burdened with this assignment."

Shame?

"Yes but less felt now".

Sigh. It escaped from my throat at last. A sigh that carried a mountain of tiresome and frustrating. Calm down, Yo!

Date of submission remained a week but as the list of coursework related assignments queued up, forced me unwillingly to settle my 100-pages-assignment earlier. This early in the morning, I went to college two hours before my class. With wireless earphone on and volume up to the maximum to suppress my undefined feelings, I kick off the assignment.

Mindlessly, I kept working as if a zombie; unbothered of the sun ray that were trespassing through gaps between leaves of the shady tree I umbrellaed under. A single sweat dropped. I had no time to stop as an hour left before class of Ajarn Mia. By any mean, this assignment had to be submitted today!

Second sweat drop was at the verge of my cheekbone. It was matter of time the drop reached the Earth floor. A ray of sunlight broke through the drop and somehow, it got refracted to all direction makes it sparkling as how diamond was.

A hand was reached out from back; a small, vanilla-scented handkerchief added on with a pinch of citrus wiped away the tingling sweat. This scent was close to Yo's heart. It eventually brought a hint of warm comfort and slowed down speed of fingers tapping.

"Here."

"Xiè xiè , Fang". Placed the handkerchief onto the wooden table, I did not forget to beam a smile as a sign of appreciation. Replied by Fang that pursed his mouth in a friendly grin as he took a seat beside me.

Pat! Pat! It was signature gesture of Fang whenever he came to greet me. It was a unique way of him to display affection. Perhaps, love.

"Is there more pages to go, Yo? I did offer my help but you insist to do on your own. Let me see now who is suffering".

Felt mocked. But, I knew the sarcasm was actually disguised as humor and deep inside Fang was worried of his health. I was such a dedicated and diligent type of man. I never put an end, at least, not until I met the end. Took my health for granted - neglect self-care, few day passing by with no eating and even, in a worse case, sometimes I got warded for gastritis.
