^Adley's pack house

Adley's POV

As we pull up to the Blue Stone Pack, I feel like this back is going to be different. I think my mate is here and that makes me really excited. I have one of my guard take Angel from the car and put a blanket down on the grass for her to lay on while I see if my mate is here. I walk to the door and am immediately greeted by the pack alpha. I outstretch my hand to shake his.

"Its nice to meet you Alpha Logan, I thank you for allowing me to visit your pack on such short notice in an attempt to find my mate."

"Its no problem, I know the feeling of not being able to find one's mate, so I wouldn't want anyone else to feel like that. I have called everyone to the ballroom in the pack house so if your mate is here they will be there."

He leads me to the room and instantly I smell the most amazing smell of strawberries and mint.

My wolf, Allyson, started jumping around in my head and yelling MATE, MATE IS HERE. WE FOUND THEM. I HOPE THEY ARE A LITTLE.

I responded Me too. To my very excited wolf, after responding I cut the connection to my wolf so I could concentrate.

I follow the smell to a small boy held in another, overlooking boy's arms. The smaller one was fast asleep and had a pacifier in his mouth.

"Who do we have here?" I asked the older boy.

"This is Landon and I am Theo."

"Hi, want to take a walk with me?" We start walking on a path that heads to the woods. "I believe Landon here is my mate, and since he trusts you, I would like you both to come to my pack." I said to the boy.

"At this point, I would go anywhere if it meant I could get Landon out of this pack and away from the abuse."

"What do you mean by abuse?" I questioned.

"Landon didn't tell me exactly what the Alpha would make him do, but I now for a fact that if he didn't cooperate, he was beaten. Plus the Alpha would starve him, and if anyone tried to sneak him food both parties would be beaten. He had to do all the household chores and cook for everyone every meal, if anything was unsatisfactory to the alpha he was beat. All the pack members would pick on him because he can't shift yet. He had to hid his little side, though I always had a suspicion that he was one, until today when I found a paci he had hiddenin his room."

WARNING OVER

As he said all this, at first I was heartbroken but my sadness for my mate soon turned to hatred. Hatred for anyone who dared lay a hand on my little mate. I immediately mindlinked my waiting brother to get the cars fueled and ready to depart.

I turned and stopped Theo from walking any further. "Where is my mates stuff, I want to get him as far away from here as possible, as soon as I can."

"He stays in a room in the packhouse
basement, I already packed it all, it just needs to be brought up. I can show you where it is. "

"No, I can smell it out, I want you to take Landon straight to the first car in my line of cars. It will be your own, just you and Landon. My brother and Delta, Danny, will be in the car behind you, and I will be in the third car with Angel. There will be a fourth car behind me to load all the stuff into."

"Who's Angel?" Theo asked.

"An abandoned baby I found in the woods before leaving to come on the tour of the packs. I have my Beta trying to dig up information on where she came from and who left her there."

"Oh ok. Should I put any of Landon's things in the car we are riding in? He will probably wake up at some point."

"No, I have a bag for him. I will pump breastmilk incase he is still little when he does wake up. All you will have to do is shake the bottle before giving it to him."

"Ok, once he starts to stir, I will have the driver pull over so I can feed him."  Theo explained to me.

"Ok, sounds like a plan. You head to the car and I will stop in before we leave." I responded.

"Alright," He responded before making a beeline for the first car.After I lead the guards to the room--if you could even call it that--Landon was staying in I head to mine and pull the diaper bag I  have for Angel out then I went to the trunk of my car and pulled the suitcase I had packed for my little and took all the boy stuff from the suitcase and placed it in the bag after emptying Angel's things into the back of the trunk. When I was done I climbed into the back seats and grabbed the breast pump and pumped two bottles worth. I sealed them up and set them in the bag. I fixed my shirt and grabbed the diaper bag climbing out of the car. I walked to Landon's car and knocked on the window.

Theo rolled it down and I handed it to him, "There should be everything you need in there, if you need something else when we stop we can get it for you." I said after handing him the bag.

"Ok, I will let you know." Theo responded.

I reached through the window and caressed the top of my little mates head. "We are going to head out in a couple minutes I will talk with you again when we stop."

I walked back to my car, asking my brother if all of my mates stuff was packed and he said yes. I then had the guard that took Angel out of the car, bring her back. I feed her and changed her then got her in her carseat and got in my seat buckling up and instructing all the drivers to start driving.
