UNFOLDING THE TRUTH ABOUT MY SECRET IDENTITY as a celestial entity to my two brothers, along with unveiling the hidden existence of the supernatural world that lurked in the shadows since the time of dawn was not as toilsome as I thought it would be.

Maybe, it had to do with the fact that I have been giving both my brothers a few hints about vampires and magic all my life. However, the only thing Damon and Stefan were angry about is that I had kept them out of all the arcane details for this long; because, as my brothers, they are responsible for protecting me.

My brothers were disappointed in themselves, more so than they were in me as they believed I had to bear the burden all alone. As if they both had let me go through the scary, unfamiliar world, all on my own, instead of leaning on them for comfort and help. My brothers both expressed how sorry they were, for not being there with me, every step of my way.

So, in return, I told and convinced them that it was not at all their fault. My brothers and I have had each other's backs for as long as I can remember. And not a single person or thing can change that relationship -bond. Not now, not ever. Except, now that I have my powers, I would do a better job at protecting them.

In the past, we shared the beatings and abuse of my Father. We shared the pain, heartbreak, and losses. But now, with my new powers, we don't ever have to feel the pain again. We can have all the peace and freedom the world has to offer. That was the night when I decided that it was time to take my brothers and mother and leave the wretched town, once and for all.

I decided that my loved ones had suffered enough, and it was time for them to live a life without any worries... and disappointed fathers, and ungrateful husbands. And it won't matter if they want to hold immortality or they want to die of old age. I will be with my family during every step of their lives, I promised to myself.

But there were a few complications. The foremost obstacle being my numpty Father, who had announced publicly in a party about my wedding with Maxwell's second son, without any prior warning to me nor my family, whatsoever. And I knew I can't compel him to withdraw his declaration without turning a few suspicious heads towards my direction. Nor can I marry that nincompoop of a fiancee like a solicitous, filial daughter. And so, I chose to do the only thing that came to my mind, I prepared to run away from my house... fast.

Nevertheless, running away with my whole family, bar my Father, Guiseppe Salvatore, was not an easy task. My mother would shoot down the idea if one were to just urge her to pack the bags and leave her husband and town without any prior warning. Not to mention, without any definite plans for the future.
