"Storms brewing"

"It feels so good to be with a man for a change that knows exactly how to take care of you" Ashley beams while painting Taylors nails

"Oh he certainly does" Taylor gushes for a moment then clears her throat

"What do you mean by that, how would you know" Ashley sets aside the nail polish with raised eyebrows

"I mean I see the way he treats you, that's all"

"Oh that makes sense" she picks up the polish once more and continues

"Hey but aren't you getting bored, a relationship is so not like either of us"

"I've grown up now and I'm falling in love with him, I mean who wouldn't"

Taylor tenses and jealously fills her yet she put on a fake smile and gritted through her teeth. She is now beginning to see her best friend as her biggest competition and Ashton was only going to add fuel to the fire.

Later at Ashton's dorm room

Taylor knocks on the door, he opens it and she pushed her way in

"We have a problem" Taylor exclaims, Ashton wraps his arms around her

"What is it birdie" he says in between planting kisses on her shoulder

"She is falling in love with you"

Ashton was pleased with this but couldn't show it, he had to think fast because he knew how things were about to go down

"Really is that what she told you? Because this morning I saw something that would imply a different story"

"What do you mean?"

"She was up against some guy making out behind the gym, so either my eyes are deceiving me or she's now lying to you birdie."

"That snake, well this works out perfectly you can end things with her now"

"We have to get some proof first otherwise she will say we concocted this whole thing to be together and I really don't care because I'm falling in love with you."

"Really" Taylor's eyes lit up

"Who wouldn't, you are so much better than her but even though she claims you two are equals she still takes the crown of queen bee behind your back. See for now I'm going to spoil her and let that guilt eat her up inside but I can't wait for my happily ever after with you."

Ashton places his hand on Taylors face and she leans into it, no other words spoken she leads him to the bedroom.

You see, Ashley wasn't with anybody this morning, it was a lie to buy Ashton some time but it definitely helped add to the brewing of the storm between the vultures.

A week later

Ashton played the devoted dotting boyfriend and Ashley was eating it all up. Taylor did feel bad for her friend been taken as a fool but every time she saw Ashley embrace what was hers rage consumed her

"Ashton is the best he got us matching shirts it so cute" Ashely gushes

"Black huh like your lying cheating soul" Tay whispers under her breath

"Huh what was that?" Ashley spoke up

"Black really suits you, best friend" Taylor grits and looks over to Ashton

"I'm going to try mine on now" Ashley grabs Ashton by the holy grail of his pants and plants a kiss on his lips before wondering off back to her apartment, not even bothering to say goodbye to her friend.

A look of disgust and distain appeared across Taylors face as she turned away from Ashton

"Hey birdie look" he takes of his jacket and extends his arm in front of her, the freshly inked tattoo catches her attention, and her eyes scan the tattoo until she spots a bird.

"Is that for me?" she shockingly asks

"Of course, this way I have my birdie with me always"

In actuality the bird was a dove, to symbolize Ashton's past, oh how easy was it to fool these idiots.

"I love you Ashton" she says. He was so pleased with this, one down and one to go

"I love you to, let's go back to my place so I can show you how much." He utters

That afternoon, Ashton was back with Ashley in her apartment watching a movie together. She pauses the flick and looks him in the eye.

"Do you love me Ashton Kingsley" she breaks the silence

"Do you love me Ashley Reid" he says back while grabbing her thigh hard

"I'm in love with you, irrevocably in love with you." She answers

And that sealed the deal

"I love you unconditionally my bad ass queen" he kisses her lips

"I have to go prepare something special for tonight, I'll text you the details" and just like that he got up and left

All it took was a little over 4 months and these women thought they were in love with me ha what a joke, the only thing they were capable of loving was themselves. Tonight was the night everything would be brought to light, I have to make sure things are set up perfectly. I can't wait, after all these years I would be getting my revenge.
