"Hey, Yeonjun! Why did you call me?"

He smiled at me as he happily hugged me, "She said yes."

I patted his back as I furrowed my eyebrows, "who?"

He rolled his eyes as he pulled out from the hug, "Yeji! She finally said yes!"

"Seriously?" I asked him in disbelief, and he nodded happily.

My heart started to break into pieces, 'Why? Tell me it's just a lie.'

"After all those waitings and patience, it was worth it!"

He smiled. Those smiles were so wide. I wish I was the reason why. I sadly smiled at him, "Congratulations, buddy! You finally got your dream girl!"

Yeji, the girl you have always liked since high school. You started courting her when we were in 10th grade.

Oh, how I wish I was the one you were courting, "Are you alright? You don't seem very happy."

I laughed bitterly, "What? I'm fine, I'm just tired, that's all." He nodded.

"Oh well, want me to take you hom-" His phone suddenly rang, "Yeah? Oh, okay. Sure. I love you." He smiled. My heart broke into pieces as I heard those words, I love you.

"Sorry, Y/n, but I gotta go. My girlfriend needs me. I'll make it up to you, though, bye Y/n." I smiled at you as you waved goodbye before walking away.

I sighed as a tear escaped from my eyes, 'I was there for you first, but why couldn't I hear you say those words to me?'

Who am I kidding? I would never be loved by someone like you. I wish I just could quit these feelings for you.
