Duelist at IS Academy

Episode 4: Timezone

An original chapter! Because I didn't like the episode, so I scrapped it. Then made an original arc.

It was 9:00 PM in Nagasaki Japan. Rebuilt after the devastating attack in World War II. With the IS allowing for a more unified world. Of course, that in the end, caused more problems.

You and Madoka walked hand in hand, in Tateyama Park. She of course, wore her usual battle suit and cloak. "Thanks for coming with me Madoka. I didn't think Squall would give you permission," you said to your girlfriend.

While you loved Madoka, you still had feelings for a couple more girls. It felt like a betrayal every time you kissed her. Still, you betrayed IS Academy the second you left for Clan Nemesis.

"The provider will show up at the park in an hour. We have some time to kill," Madoka mused. She clung onto your arm and closed her eyes. Smiling at the tranquility of the night.

You kissed her forehead and narrowed your eyes at the distance. Two orange goggles shone. You immediately knew who it was. Your eyes turned red, and you caressed Madoka's cheek.

You heated up her body quickly, enough for her to pass out. Getting involved with matters like this. She is good, but not on the level of these guys. Putting her on a nearby bench. Gunshots rang out as bullets penetrated your left arm.

Luckily it was metal and you felt no pain. Chronos walked out with a 45. in hand, emptying the magazine. Red spikey hair, and pale skin, wearing maroon clothing. With a dark scarf covering his mouth. You melted the bullets mid air. The slag sizzles on the green grass.

"Here to kill me?" You ask. Chronos nodded and you rushed foward. Lighting surrounded you, before turning into a bolt. Time slowed down, no one sped up. Chronos willed you to slow, and slow you did.

He reloaded a magazine, and cocked the gun. He shot in an area ahead of you, and threw a grenade at a different area. Time sped up once more, back to it's original flow.

You hit the bullets, falling to the ground. Seeing the grenade you froze your body. The shrapnel shredded through the ice, but it was thick enough to leave you unharmed.

You leapt away, focusing on the destroyed icicles. Making them sharper, and launching them at Chronos. Who dodged them perfectly. Which you hoped he did.

He unsheathed a sword, snapping it to the front. He was to close for you to properly defend. That's what he thought at least. Your eyes glowed blue and held your right hand up.

The sword would usually just rip through your prosthetics. Then it would go into your throat. Finally Chronos would decapitate you. That's what should've happened. Yet you were a legend in Cier for a reason.

You jumped in the air as Chronos's sword was stuck in an Ice clone's hand. Your eyes flashed through red and yellow. The Ice clone moved and jolted Chronos foward.

Giving a rock solid punch to the ribcage. Chronos coughed up blood, as the ice clone created a sheet of frost. You shot a fireball at the frost, creating mist.

Chronos looked around, trying to find you. Yet you were completely hidden. Until, a punch to the back burnt him. Then a right hook to the skull. You grabbed his head and sent electricity through it.

Throwing him foward as your ice clone created a sword. Slashing him, and freezing him solid. The ice clone walks into you, and your eyes flash blue. Before returning to their normal E/C hue.

You make a crushing gesture with your hand. The ice sculpture of Chronos exploded. Killing him as you sighed. The mist soon evaporated as you checked for Madoka. Going into the woods, you put her there when you created the mist.

Shocking her awake, she jumps up. "What the hell happened?! Looks like a bomb went through the park!" Madoka asked in exasperation. "Don't worry about it. Let's go see our client," You dismissed the fight with Chronos. Like it never happened at all.

Because in Cier, if you die. You'll end up being forgotten. Your impact will fade and it's like you never existed in the first place. That's how it's always been.

Sitting on a bench, you hear footsteps.  "I'm pleased to see you survived the test," a voice said. A man walked out, bald, and purple eyes. Wearing a black business suit, and a stoic face.

Madoka looked back and forth between you two. His facial structure is very similar to yours. Only with some differences. "HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!! Of course it was YOU! It couldn't have been anyone else!" You exclaimed quite viciously.

"That any way to greet your father? Your dear Papa?" He asked sarcastically. "I swore if I ever saw you again! I would kill you! Slowly, and painfully! After what you did to Yupia, Helia, and I!" You said with an insane smile.

"Where is Mom? I want to give her a taste of my wrath as well!" You looked for her, but she wasn't there. "My boy, you already saw her. She is your boss after all," He replied coldly and calmly.

You put the pieces together. Eyes widened in horror. "Squall was?! That means I had-" You vomited your guts out. Madoka didn't know what to do. Her world is being twisted in front of her.

"I am Kurt, it's nice to meet the girlfriend of my son," Kurt said with a small bow. Madoka glared maliciously at him. You shot a fireball at him. Kurt sidestepped it and gave a warm smile. Pride is clearly evident in his face.

"Machines will overtake man. I got rid of you and Helia because of how little the enhancements affected you two. Now I see they only needed to be pushed," Kurt observed.

"I'm gonna cut you in half," You snarled. A robotic undertone in your voice. You knew that you became like Yupia in this moment. That there was no difference in morality at this moment. You didn't care, you wanted your father dead.

"Well? Show me how far you've grown Y/N," Kurt challenged. You created a sword of ice. Eyes glowing purple, and scalera black. "DIE!!" you screamed.

It was time to meet your maker.

Things are getting tense, as your darker side takes over. Or perhaps you simply are done holding back.
