Kushina could not believe that Minato would come and rescue her. "I followed the trail of red hair strands to find you," he said. Then he picked her up and flew across the night. "Your hair is beautiful so I noticed it right away," Minato told her. "But you have always ignored me," Kushina replied. "That's because I know that you are strong," he said. The next day at school the two were inseparable. Kushina would usually sit next to her friend Tsunade but today was different. Tsunade was waiting for Kushina to come. She would never miss a day off school especially if she wanted to become hokage thought Tsunade. That's when she noticed Kushina was sitting next to Minato. "Hmmm so I see ehh Kushina already got herself a boyfriend," she told Jiraiya a good friend of hers. "I don't blame Minato for finding Kushina, she is pretty," he said with a sigh "Oh shut up will ya with the pervy tricks Jiraiya!" Tsunade retorted. Even so Tsunade wouldn't concentrate that day. How could Kushina get her boyfriend before she got hers? She asked herself. Well she'd always had a crush on Fugaku Uchiha so she figured that she would take her chances at break time. Approaching Fugaku was harder than she thought. "Hey there do you want to you know hang out of something?" The words barely just escaped from her mouth as Mikoto came rushing out of nowhere and said "Fugaku darling I was wondering where you'd got to!" She exclaimed. From across the yard Tsunade caught Kushina looking at her. Turning back to Minato she asked "Who was that?" "Oh that was Fugaku Uchiha you'd be lucky if he said a word to you," Minato replied. "Why?" Kushina asked "Because every girl wants him, Mikoto is extremely lucky to even talk to him!" Minato replied. "I don't see why girls don't come rushing up to you Minato," Kushina told him. "You're too funny Kushina I'm lucky to have you," he told her.
