Chapter 2

It was a short journey, they arrived quickly, paid the taxi man and walked into the restaurant. There was a cacophony of posh voices, glasses clinking, cutlery banging and a faint sound of a woman singing from the back of the room. She was a pretty lady, her long blonde hair was tied up into a curly ponytail and she was wearing a short black dress that was cut very short at the front. Matt looked at her and suddenly realised that she was looking back at him with her bright blue eyes! He smiled and she gave a small smile back.

Waitress- "can I take your names gentlemen?"

D- "ah yes of course, there should be a table under lucas?"

The waitress then took them to their table, seated them, gave them their menus then left. David was happy to be alone with Matt, they were obviously very close friends however david had always yearned for something more, something romantic between them. Little did he know, matt felt the same way about him.
They had been talking happily for a while now, still just as friends though. Matt was wishing that david would make a move although he doubted that he would and david was thinking the same.

C- "hello."

The men looked up to see the pretty singer standing at the side of their table.

M- "oh, hello.."

Matt and david were both confused as to why this lady was talking to them as they both gave such gay vibes that no female ever approached them.

C- "I finished my singing shift so I'm here to take your drinks?"

D- "ah fabulous can I have a Courvoisier straight up?"

M- "and a [slur] chaser?"

C- "yes of course i won't be long"

M- "wait, sorry miss what's your name?"

C- "oh how rude, my apologies, it's courtney, courtney act"

Then she walked away.
Courtney had a soft voice and a definite Australian accent which matt found very sexy and cool.

D- "courtney seems nice doesn't she?"

David smiled at matt in what matt firstly thoight was a flirtatious manner but then brushed it off as just a bit of fun.

M- "ahah yes, pretty voice too."

There was then a moment of silence, in which matt and david locked eyes, in a way they never had before, like they were seeing eachother as more than fellow actors and friends fro the first time.

D- "matt I have something I need to admi-"

C- "one Courvoisier straight up? And rupauls signature drink?"

Matt let out a sigh of slight sadness when courtney interrupted david. Was he confessing his love for him? He very much doubted it, why would such a beefy sexy hunky chunk of sauce and muscle like him?! But what else could he have been about to say...

D- "thanks love"

Courtney placed down our drinks and smiled.

C- "ready to order food yet?"

David looked at matt and shook his head, matt could tell he still wanted to talk to him.

M- "not quite sorry"

C- "no worries I'll be back in a little while"

Courtney walked smoothly away, her hips swaying to the beat of the new music which was playing.

M- "so... you were sayi-"

D- "matt I love you"
