In the months after Henry died, I tried to grieve and move on. My sister was now engaged and had seemed to have forgotten about the man she had once loved. But I couldn't. After all tonight wouldn't have been possible without him.

Tonight was my coronation but all I could think about were his last words to me...

(Flashback)
"HENRYYY!!!" I sobbed against his chest. I quickly glanced at the corpse a few feet away. I was bleeding from the stab wound but all I could think about were the seeping claw marks on Henry's chest. He wouldn't survive the wounds. He couldn't heal like me since he lost his werewolf genes. The tests killed his wolf and their last attempt to kill me would result in his demise.
He then grabbed my face to look him in the eyes, " Alicia, you are the strongest woman I know and I know you will make a great alpha. Your father bestowed upon me the great honor of watching over your life for any threats. My duty has been fulfilled, now you must do yours. In 5 months time you will reign over every werewolf on this continent from Canada to Mexico. Always be weary of possible attacks, sleep with one eye open, a dagger in hand, and rule with an iron fist. Your wolf is the strongest this world has seen in 500 years. She will protects you after I am gone. And last but not least, watch over your sister, make sure she finds love again. I was not her mate but my love for her is eternal. Make sure she knows. You will rule-"
His breath caught and the world went silent. I shook him.
He was gone.

(End of flashback)

Just then a knock sounded out through the silence. I got up to open the door. My sister was outside of it with a huge smile plastered on her face as something tucked behind her back.
"What got you so happy?" I questioned with my own smirk forming. She then pulled out a wooden box and opened it.
"I found you a tiara for before the ceremony. I know you said you didn't want one but it-"
She didn't get a chance to finish before I pulled her into a tight hug. She seemed shocked for a second before she hugged back.
My eyes began to burn as I whispered in her ear, "It's perfect." I finished for her.
"You haven't hugged me since before. I missed you." I could tell she was breaking down with me. Both aware this hug could be our last for years.
