The Broken Alpha Queen//On Hold

Chapter 5

^**Common room**^

I was halfway out the door before a hand grabbed my arm and spun me around. There Riley was standing with a cautious smile. "Wait a minute with me will you?" I nod hesitantly and let her guide me to sit down on the grass. Elias came and sat down to my left whilst Riley sat on my right.

They both reached out and took my hands. I was hesitant at first but as soon as our skin connected I felt the strong sparks of electricity. The two in front of me were drop dead gorgeous. Elias was the first to speak up. "Alicia, I know we just met but I promise to be faithful to you for as long as we all shall live. I know you may think we won't except you or that your a third wheel but you are just as important to me as Riley is and the same stands for her... We fully accept you and your strengths. We promise to explore and love every part of you and we promise to never try to change you. Your our mate. Never doubt that." 

Riley then leaned in and quickly pecked my burning cheek. Elias then did the same to my other. The immense amount of happiness I felt in this moment was indescribable. I then squeezed their hands slightly and stood from my spot in the grass. I suddenly felt a strong need to take my shoes off to be closer to the ground. So I reached down and unclasped the straps of my sandals. The second my bare feet touched the ground, I brought my hands to the rose buds next to me. I could hear them calling out to me, asking me to help them bloom. I touched the buds lightly and felt a surge of power release from my core and out through my hands. I watched in awe as the buds bloomed. Upon the bush were multiple colored roses. I stood there shocked for a moment before reaching out and grabbing the blue rose. I grabbed it and turned to Riley.  I brushed the hair behind her left ear and tucked the rose there securely. 

I knew she was Hawaiian so placing the rose behind her left ear symbolized me accepting her as my mate. She smiled widely before reaching out and grabbing the reddest rose from the bush. She then tucked the rose in my platinum bob behind my left ear. Elias walked to us and hugged us. 

I finally felt like I could have a family. I got so lost in our moment that I barely noticed Alexis walking up behind me. She cleared her throat obnoxiously loud. Elias and Riley jumped back at the sudden intrusion. I on the other hand was less than shocked and turned to her with a slightly annoyed expression. She simply shook her head at me. "Get your shoes on and lets go. You still have responsibilities your majesty." With that I scoffed. She turned to my mates and smiled. "Follow me to the common room. Alicia will be along shortly. Elias looked to me for conformation and I nodded to him.

"I'll be there shortly. Go get comfortable." I them gestured to the door. Riley gave me a light-hearted smile and turned to follow my twin. As soon as they exited the hall I exhaled a deep breath I didn't know I was holding. I opened the link between me and Raina. *Soo, what do you think of them?*

Raina responded instantly, 'I love Riley and Elias seems nice, he still makes me slightly nervous. His wolf Sebastian said he had to do some dark things in his past and it scarred him. He still carries that darkness. Its similar to the darkness you hold but yours is much deeper. I think he is hiding something that he doesn't want you and Riley to know about. He has shielded Riley from the world and I'm worried she'll have a rude awakening to the real world.'

I took a moment while I put on my shoes before responding, *Elias seems guarded but he seems to be trying. I'm scared that I will only harm Riley. She doesn't deserve the cruelness of this world. My world will only bring her hardship and she deserves better.*

Riley shook her head at me, 'No matter what you guys go through, or what you discover about their past, the Moon Goddess chose them for you for a reason. They will raise you up. Now stop doubting yourself and lets go.' With that I shut the link between us and walked to the common room. As soon as I arrived everyone stopped what they were doing, stood and bowed. I motioned for them to stand and made my way to the middle of the room. I saw my mates to the left of where I was on a couch with my twin. I stopped slightly before the middle of the room. I began to address my subjects for the first time as their Alpha Queen.

"Welcome all of you to our first meeting under a new ruler. I promise to rule to the best of my abilities. I promise to lead with a level head and a fair heart. Now all of those who are not Betas, Beta Females, or in the case of the Dark Sands pack, the head warrior and their mate, may leave."

Soon the once massive crowd had shrunk to a reasonable size. I began to speak again, "Now to complete the main request of the Moon Goddess the Alpha and Luna of the Russian Mafia will meet their fates. A loud cheer erupts as two chained and caged wolves raise from the ground.
