"Hope is a waking dream."

"Hey, look at that!" Amanda pointed in front, "It looks like a sign!"

"A sign?" I asked as Amanda ran over there. Me and Ruby followed her.

I looked at the sign. It was a simple sign made out of wooden planks. The word 'vanilla' was written on it.

Vanilla? Isn't that the room we played in before we were brought into here?

"Yup, I'm assuming that's where we're supposed to go," Ruby said, as if she was actually reading my thoughts. "So we head over there now?"

"Yeah, let's go!" Amanda said, spontaneously, and she just ran off. But then, she started panting after awhile. Funny.

"Serves you right for running ahead of us," Ruby said as she caught up to Amanda, and I was behind them both, walking up slowly.

"Phew! Our stamina has greatly decreased in this form, I guess," Amanda said, "Mice are tiny!"

"I think so too, I don't usually get so weak after running a few steps," Ruby agreed to Amanda's statement.

Huh? Mice? Tiny?

"Hey guys, do you think that it's because we're running like humans? Mice actually run on their front and back paws," I thought of an idea, "Should we try it out?"

"Oh yeah! I actually forgot about that," Amanda snapped her fingers.

"Good thinking," Ruby said to me.

We ran through the road made of gravel with all four of our paws, and it worked out pretty well.

"This is so much easier, don't you guys think so?" Amanda asked.

"Yup," Ruby replied her and I nodded.

There were many trees by the sides of the road, and all of them seem pixelated. Flowers too. It's an interesting sight, as we don't usually see these things in real life.

As I thought of 'real life', I suddenly had a bunch of memories flashing back in my mind, as I remembered the last thing I saw before I teleported in here, was my family's rooms shut. I wish I had my chance to say something to them before this happened.

"Hey Keb! What you doing?" Amanda called out. I then realize that I had blanked out, and they were already above the hill, "Why're you just standing there?"

"Nothing, and why'd you call me Keb out of a sudden?"

"Look above your head, lil' boy."

I looked up, and I saw a column of text, and there are words on it: Kebaya and <Little Mouse>. Amanda and Ruby had them too.

"These are our usernames and titles right?"

"You don't say. Now hurry up! We're reaching vanilla soon!" Amanda yelled.

I ran to where they were standing, and I gasped at the breathtaking view below our feet.

"It's a.. town!" I said excitedly.

"Mhm! Let's get going!" Amanda yelled and ran off, down the hill.

"She's so hyper." I said and Ruby laughed.

"Let's go."

.

In a few minutes' time, we reached the clearing of the forest. The town's entrance was just ahead of us. Overgrown vines were scattered across the fences that barricaded the town, and plants were growing at their own will. The trees' colour match with the grass, and the flowers were like the decorations for them. The whole image blended well together, it was a fascinating sight.
