I woke up to my phone ringing non stop so I answered it
Me:Hello
I said in a tiredly voice
???:Hi sorry to wake u but is this Mr.Coly?
Me: Umm yes who is this
I was now worried by this call
???:Um Hi this is Holy Name Hospital your mom and two kids has been in a very bad car accident we need you and your wife to come down here for updates
Me:WHAT ARE YOU SERIOUS RIGHT NOW!
Nurse:sir I need you to calm down I know this is a lot to take in right now.. We just need you and your wife down here for you the updates
Me:Yea umm.. Ok we'll be right there
I hung up the phone and put my head in my hands and started to tear up
Nyasia:Baby what's wrong?
She asked looking worried
Me:Nothing baby just get dressed
I patted her leg and got up and went into the bathroom
Nyasia P.O.V
I wonder what's wrong with Lucas he seemed really upset after that phone call.. was it that serious? I'll find out soon... After we were done getting dressed we drove to a hospital.. Why are we at a hospital?
Me:Lucas why are we her?
He just ignored and got out the car so I got out and followed him in the hospital to the front desk.. He ask the privately who he was looking for, she told him and we went to the pediatric section of the hospital.. This shit is really scaring me.. I grabbed his hand and stopped him from walking
Me:Lucas.. Why are we here?
Lucas:Go in there
He pointed to a room next to him.. I looked at him confused then went into the room.. When I went into the room my heart nearly stopped
Me:Oh My God
I said with tears in my eyes and walking to my baby's bed side.. Lucas came and hugged me from behind and cried on my shoulder
Me: (Sniffs) Where's my mom?
Lucas:She's in surgery
Me:Surgery?!
Lucas:I know it's a lot to take in right now, but we gotta stay strong for them ok
I nodded my head and just cried on his shoulder
???:Mr. And Mrs. Coly?
Lucas:Yes that's us
???:Hi I'm Dr. Harris in the who was operating Hazel, baby Lucas, and your mother
Me:How's my mother?
Dr. Harris:... I'm sorry but your mother didn't make it we did everything we could. She just wasn't responding to anything we were giving her
When I heard that I broke down crying.. I can't believe it my mom is dead. I can't take this so I left the hospital and sat on a bench outside and just cried..
Lucas P.O.V
I know all this is hard for Nyasia so I'll just leave her for awhile... I ask the doctor when the kids will be able to leave she said she'll call us I said ok then went in the room and kissed the kids goodnight and left to find Nyasia.. I found her by a bench just sitting there
Me:Baby.. You ok?
Nyasia:No I'm not ok Lucas I just lost my mother and my kids are I bad shape does it look like I'm ok?
Me:Baby I know..I was just asking
Nyasia: (sighs) I know baby I'm sorry
Me:It's ok baby
I sat next her and rubbed her back.. She hugged me really tight like this was the last time she was gonna see me
Nyasia:Baby don't you ever leave me
Me:Nyasia I will never leave you
I said looking her in her eyes
Nyasia:Promise?
Me:I promise you baby
I said then kissed her with a lot of passion then pulled
Nyasia:Ok baby
