Tennis Ball's POV

We were running from the border.

Thanks to our super-speed legs, we were able to escape, but not for long.

It seems like we had one place to go:

The Plains.

Since the border shrunk, we might be able to find someone who was weak, and even maybe kill them, like-

"GRASSY!" I heard GB say.

Sure enough, it was Grassy, just sitting on the grass.

"Hello, Grassy!" said Basketball cheerfully.

"What's up Gr-"

Golf Ball ripped him in half.

...

Well, okay, I guess.

"So, where are we going to go from here?" asked Basketball when we've reached the plains.

"My underground factory! We can make better weapons and stuff there!" GB said cheerfully.

We approached the stairs and we all knew something was wrong.

The lab was in a mess, the Dream Sauce spilled everywhere (bfdia reference).

"Someone must've used the Dream Sauce to their advantage!" I called out.

"You're right, TB. Who else would do that?" Basketball said, inspecting the sauce.

"Since they've used half the Dream Sauce, we could only get half the dream we want!" GB said.

"Yeah. How about we dream one and one-half that we win?" I suggested.

Basketball twitched a smile.

"Guys, maybe you should inspect the area. There may be other people here." she said.

"Okay then, BB." I replied, while dragging Golf Ball with me.

She instantly broke out of my grip and took a book from the mini-library that we made a couple months ago.

"Do you see this?" she asked, showing me a book named "Things and How to Hide Them : a beginner's guide to hiding stuff"

She slammed the book open and there was a remote attached to it.

"A nuke?!" I gasped.

She started to laugh uncontrollably.

"Someday, TB. Someday. This is just a remote for opening the secret latch."

"What? You built a secret latch without me?" I said, trying to act dissappointed.

Golf Ball pressed a button and I heard a loud "Clunk!". She went over to the very back of the library that we forgot to block off and there was a staircase there.

"What the-"

She opened the latch and brought me in.

It was a lab.

A very nice and comfortable one.

Ten times better than the lab that GB and I work on.

"Wait. Take this." she said, giving me the remote.

Golf Ball shuffled through the stuff in the closet and it was full of inventions she made.

"Aha! Here we go!"

"So this is where you were..." I answered.

She showed me another Aim-Dart like gun.

"Behold... a real gun with an auto-aimer!" she said.

"Aren't guns illegal?" I asked.

There was an uncomfortable pause.

"I'll just change the bullets to lasers, don't worry!" she said while patting my back.

"That's even worse!"

She searched again in her closet and came back with a rectangle-shaped object.

"This is the ammo. It's unlimited ammo and semi-auto WITH an auto-aimer!" she said gladly.

"Okay... I guess?" I said while she put the object into the gun.

"Alright, let's go!" she called to me, while I was admiring her inventions.

When we came down the stairs, we were met with a horrible surprise.

Basketball was cooking the Dream Sauce. It had thirty-six more seconds to go before it's done.

"Hey..." Basketball said, not trying to act suspicious.

"Is that for us?" Golf Ball asked.

"Yes! It's for you, haha!" Basketball quickly said.

I could notice the tiny droplets of sweat on her face.

"Umm... found anyone?" she questioned.

"SHE'S STALLING US!" I screamed on Golf Ball's face.

She may be smart, but not smart enough to identify traitors.

Basketball's eyes widened and she said again "Why don't you guys make an invention really quick, I-"

I pushed her with the Robo-Limbs that Golf Ball gave us.

I saw the Dream Sauce timer.

Ten...
Nine...
Eight...

A couple more seconds and Basketball might make the worst dream ever dreamed of.

Golf Ball finally realizes what is happening and she head towards the oven to stop the timer.

Four...
Three...

I got the invention that Golf Ball hasn't named yet and pressed the trigger against Basketball.

A laser shot through her chest and she knelt on the ground.

"My dream will come true..."

One...

I braced myself to whatever she baked.

Timer stopped.

I quickly looked over on the oven and it seems like Golf Ball reached the stop button.

"So... we're the last two left, huh?" she asked.

I nodded and the both of us exited the factory, leaving Basketball's body in there.
