Ch. 33 - All the hurt

Savannah POV

I groaned as I opened up my eyes and lifted my head to see mommy's face. I gave her a small smile before laying my head back down and tracing patterns on her arm. Mommy rubbed my back softly before speaking up, "How are you feeling this morning pumpkin?"

I groaned again and tried to cover my face, "Too loud mommy." I whined out to her.

I could feel her kiss the top of my head, "Well I think that's my answer." She said quieter this time which I was thankful for. She sat up and I wrapped my legs around her waist with my head now tucked into her neck.

"C'mon sweetie. How about you and I take a bath together? See if that helps any and then we can get you some medicine." She asked still trying to be quiet and I nodded my head, but whined when it started to hurt.

Mommy lifted us both up and carried me into the bathroom where she set me down on the counter. She got the bath water started and began undressing herself before she helped me out of my clothes.

As we were waiting for the bath to finish filling all the way, I asked, "Mommy, where momma?"

Mommy gave me a smile, "She had some work to get done, but she'll be back in a few hours. Now c'mon little missy, into the bath you go." Mommy said as she carefully placed me into the bath with her quickly following behind her.

Once she was in, I tried to lay up against her but she stopped me, causing me to let out a series of whines. "I know baby, but lets get your hair and body washed then we can have snuggles." I let her do her thing and finally she allowed me to turn around and lay my body against hers.

She scooped the warm water along my back as she hummed softly. She told me earlier that I could nurse if I wanted to, that the breast milk might make me feel better. So I decided to latch on and when I did, I could feel my entire body relax.

She continued to scoop water down my back as her other hand gently rubbed my cheek. Once I was done nursing I cuddled more into her until she made us get out, which I wasn't happy about. She stepped out of the tub first and wrapped a towel around her body before lifting me into a towel. She carried me back into the bedroom before setting me on the bed.

Mommy went to grab some clothes for me but I whined out to her causing her to glance my way. "What's wrong baby?"

"No clothes mommy," I whined again.

"Well how am I supposed to get you medicine and take you down for breakfast?" Mommy asked and I pouted at her.

"No clothes mommy," I told her again with a clear frown on my face.

Finally she surrendered and ended up just putting a robe on. "I'll text Lily and see if she can bring over some medicine and breakfast." She laid down on the bed and I immediately crawled onto her, opening up her robe and laying on her now bare front.

She ended up laughing. "Fine baby, but you have to stay there so I'm covered when Lily walks in." She told me which I gave her a small nod. I mindlessly rubbed the top of her boob as she rubbed my back.

I don't know why I'm so little today. Maybe it's because of the pain, or the memory of how I was hurt, or both.

Finally Lily rushed in with both food and the medicine, but left shortly after. Mommy made me sit up so I could take the yucky medicine. Luckily she gave me juice right after that, and I sucked down quite a bit to get the gross taste out of my mouth.

On the tray was only some toast and eggs, which I was fine with because I felt a bit nauseous anyways. I was starting to feel a little more drowsy, which I think mommy noticed because she helped me into a pull-up before I fully drifted to sleep.

Adelaide POV

Savannah went to bed not feeling well, and woke up seemingly worse. Hopefully the bath, nursing, and the medicine will help her some. I let her rest her body on me as she slept. She had been through so much recently and she's still dealing with it.

Alex came in a little later grinning when she saw me. "Do I have a naked wife in my bed?" She asked with a little grin and I just shook my head at her.

"Yes you do. And a naked baby who doesn't feel good, so get your head out of the gutter." I replied with some sass. She chuckled a little before getting into bed with us and wrapping her arms around the two of us.

"What's wrong with our little one this morning?" Alex asked as she rested her head on my shoulder.

"She woke up with a bad headache and was really sensitive to noises. I practically whispered all morning. I had us take a bath where she cuddled and nursed with me, but when it was time to get dressed she just about threw a fit about putting clothes on, hence why we are both naked." I told her with a little sigh.

Continuing I told her, "Once we were settled into bed, I had Lily bring some medicine and food for Sav. She fell asleep shortly after and now we're here."

Alex nodded and kissed the top of Savannah's head. "Maybe she'll feel better when she wakes up," Alex reasoned and I nodded while quickly pecking my wife's lips.

"So, what do you think this little one made us for our gift?" I asked my wife only to feel the little one start stirring.

"Not tellin you mommy. An mad at aunt Hopey fo ruinin da su'pise." She groggily said causing Alex and I to chuckle.

"Well good morning to you too baby. Hopey only told us because she knew we wanted to know where you were at at all times. So don't be mad at her, okay baby?" Momma asked.

I whined a little bit, "Okay momma. But cans you ask aunt Hopey to b'ing it here. Wanna gives it to you p'ease."

I smiled down at my sweet girl before telling her I would text her.
