"We need to stand up soon." Yeji said softly.
"I don't want to..." Ryujin whined. She wanted to keep having Yeji this close to her. She enjoyed the intimacy they're sharing lately.
Unfortunately Yeji already sat up, running her fingers through her hair with one hand. Ryujin observed her, while laying down in the cozy bed. When Yeji was about to stand up, Ryujin lazily gripped Yeji's arm.
"Stay in bed with me."
It was difficult to say no. But after many failed tries, Yeji somehow managed to stand up and walked through her room. Ryujin's still sleepy eyes following every step and every movement she made.
"Yeji." Ryujin called her while stretching out her hand "Help me up."
"You're going to pull me down, right?" Yeji asked.
"I won't." it was an obvious lie, but Yeji still fell for it; seconds later also literally fell on top of Ryujin. Honestly she secretly hoped Ryujin would do it.
"Just a few more minutes."
Yeji looked at her eyes; and only saw perfection in front of her. Ryujin was so beautiful with her slightly messed up hair, Yeji just had to give her another kiss. Ryujin smiled, whereas Yeji cuddled into the crook of Ryujin's neck; closing her eyes again.
"Still the same cuddle bear." Ryujin said happily; she knew Yeji couldn't resist cuddling. Yeji giggled as she put a couple of small kisses on Ryujin's neck; they were full of affection. It caused Ryujin's heartbeat to slow down and relax again.
"Let's get ready now." Yeji faced Ryujin again.
"What do you want to do?" Ryujin asked curiously.
Yeji actually didn't know what to do. She just wanted to create some memories together and stay by her side; so she answered as truthfully as she could.
"Spending time with you."
"You are. Right now actually." Ryujin responded.
Yeji smiled and stared at Ryujin for a bit, before sitting up again.
"Come on, baby."
"If it involves fun, then sure." Ryujin said after stretching and yawning beside Yeji.
"That's what you call fun?" Ryujin groaned. "How can you do that voluntarily?"
It was a spontaneous decision to take Ryujin running with her. Since Ryujin showed her a bit of the activities she likes, Yeji tought she could return the favor by showing Ryujin her hobby. Yeji just didn't expect that it would drain Ryujin that much; but she was still cute regardless.
Yeji slowed down her steps and looked back. Only to see a sweaty Ryujin catching her breath behind her. Yeji walked towards her with a smile.
"You alright?" she giggled.
Yeji started to laugh when Ryujin gave her an ok gesture instead of speaking. Ryujin being still visibly in pain from the ongoing workout.
Wanting to reduce her suffering, Yeji looked around and noticed they are near a supermarket.
"Want to go to buy some water?" Yeji suggested.
"Can we take a break first?" Ryujin asked; still out of breath.
"It's only 5 minutes away."
"But-" Yeji suddenly stood right in front of Ryujin's face. But the moment before their lips were about to touch, Yeji moved away and began to run again.
"Let me kiss you at least."
"Then catch me if you can" Yeji teased.
"But i can't!" Ryujin shouted after her.
After minutes of painful suffering, Ryujin finally stood in fromt of the supermarket; Yeji was nowhere to be found. Guessing that she already arrived, Ryujin made her way inside and looked for some water. She saw Yeji already waiting for her, while hiding something at her back.
"Hey Ryujin! You need to...." Yeji suddenly held a cold water bottle on Ryujin's cheek; making her flinch.
"...cool down a bit." you could tell that Yeji was proud of her so called joke and waited patiently for Ryujin's reaction.
"You're lucky you're cute, because that was-"
"Hilarious? Yeah, i know." Yeji completed her sentence.
Ryujin just snatched the water bottle out of Yeji's hand and rolled her eyes, starting to walk to another aisle. She pretended to hate it, although she liked it. Not because it was funny, but because of Yeji's cuteness.
Ryujin thought it's interesting how easily Yeji captured her heart; she's affecting her more than she ever imagined.
"It was funny, you can laugh." Yeji said behind her.
But instead of laughing, Ryujin turned around and gave Yeji a quick kiss while being in the candy section. Ironically her lips tasted sweeter than ever.
"Let's go." Ryujin responded and starting to walk to the cashier; Yeji followed her with a big smile.
Once stepped out of the supermarket, it seemed like Yeji won't leave her side; literally. Yeji didn't want to run anymore, she just had her arm wrapped around Ryujin, while she was drinking her water.
It's not like it's bothering Ryujin, but the amount of affection she's receiving recently is too overwhelming.
"I won't run away, you know." referring to Yeji sticking to her like glue.
"I'm yours anyways." Ryujin blurted out, making her blush madly.
"... i'm yours as well." Yeji responded equally flustered with the situation.
The tension around them thickened again as they walked in silence.
But Ryujin liked the nervousness she's feeling every time she's with Yeji, she liked the way her heart couldn't stop racing and the butterflies going crazy in her stomach.
'So that's what falling in love feels like.'
