Spinel was beyond nervous. Not only had she never been to therapy before, but from what she's heard they're all about; she was definitely NOT excited. Sharing her baggage with some rando human? How much would she have to say? Would the human judge her? Of course, they would, wouldn't they? She was unsure and thought of all the terrible possibilities of what might happen. For weeks the Diamonds kept encouraging her to try at least one session. It became apparent to them over time that Spinel wasn't really acting as well as they had hoped. She was happy, sure, but it didn't feel real. Obviously spending a lot of time in Blue's cloud room wasn't doing her any favors from simply numbing some of her lingering pain. Without the clouds, she could better notice those thoughts and feelings. Less distracted by the happy effect. Spinel didn't exactly feel all too comfortable with telling the Diamond's about her problems when they all included something negative about Pink. Maybe expressing her hatred for Pink to the people who loved her wasn't all that good of an idea.

So after a lot of thought and encouragement, she finally decided to give in and get the outside help. Even Steven was considerate enough to hook her up with someone he knew in Beach City. Her hesitation to go back to Earth was pretty bad, though. That blasted planet was practically, in Spinel's eyes, the main reason why Pink left her! Pink probably thought the place was better than Spinel, that it could make her happier than Spinel ever could. Every time she thought about it, it just made her mad. But she had to keep those feelings repressed for now and soldier through it.

"A-are y'all sure I should do this? Like...is this really a good idea?" Spinel stuttered, hesitant to step onto the warp pad that would bring her to Earth. "I mean, I'm not that upset about Pink anymore, hehehh..." She was still very upset. The Diamond's loomed over her with big smiles on their faces.

"Aw, do not fret, Starlight. Of course we are sure!" White insisted.

"Mhm. We only want what is best for you," Blue reassured softly.

"Agreed. Your metal health is very important to us." Yellow agreed.
"It's mental health, Yellow." Blue had to correct bluntly.
"Oh, yes yes-that's what I meant...mental health."

Spinel sighed, releasing some of the tension that had built up in her shoulders. "Alright, alright, I know what ya mean.....pppostive?" All 3 Diamond's nodded with encouragement. With that, Spinel stepped onto the warp pad, softly waving goodbye, and was off to Earth.
