Emily pov
I woke up to another day and remembered what happened last night, which was weird I usually can’t remember things for a certain point of being tired... Something’s up. I mean something was up anyways since I could never remember things in the first place. But Michael knew about it somehow. What is up with the world?
I looked at my phone and saw an alert that said school was cancelled for whatever reason so cool no school. I decided I needed some air so I went for a walk. Nature has always seemed to calm me so I tend to go for walks a lot. I was walking around next to the next neighborhood nearby when someone came up to me. He seemed nice enough, but that’s how all harrow movies go, the guy seems nice and maybe you even become a thing, and BOOM you're dead. So he comes up to me and introduced himself as Jake. Which was a common name so it didn't make me feel any greater about him.
"So..." I mean hey it was the best I could do I didn't know he guy.
"Hi, so I-um I'm doing this school project thing and I need some data for it and I've already asked everyone I know... would you mind being a part of my data?" he said it so nicely I'm no longer concerned that he can cause any harm.
"Well that depends on what our question is Jake." I think I said that nice enough so that I seemed interested in the project.
"Ok so first you can't laugh it had to be data on something outside of the box." He stated it so sternly like if I did laugh it would end the world.
"Alright no laughing promise" I replied, wondering what the question was going to be.
"So my question for you is if you had to choose any element what would you choose?" He stated, and then seemed almost anxious for my answer. But of all things it had to be elements, was this guy with Michael?
"I don't like the question and don’t feel like answering... but I will anyways, you won't like my answer though." I paused and thought for a moment; what if this is all a plan? Oh well no going back now. "I can't choose because I like them all." I finished and waited for a response.
"You do know that that's an option a lot of people can't decide it's actually pretty common, don't worry and thanks for answering." He said it and before I had a chance to respond he turned around and left. Man he was a little strange I mean if he wasn't with Michael I mean.
Michael’s p.o.v
I need to talk to Emily but she probably doesn’t want to talk to me right now. I mean she thinks I’m crazy so why would she want to talk to me? It’s just that we need to hurry and be on our way or else she’ll end up into trouble. I mean she’s needed anyways but still.
I decided to go to Emily’s house and talk to her, she can’t ignore me forever. When I got there I rang the doorbell but no one answered. Okay so where would Emily be on a day off from school? I didn’t know where to look so I just sat down in front of the door and figured I’d wait.
