Ch 20 | Going Back

[3rd POV]

Shiroka huff as she check if the men are still alive and found no pulse so she stands up and for a second Byakuran appeared as a ghostly figure "Uwah! Shiro-chan finished the mission!" He said and Shiroka smiled "Of course" she answered as Byakuran put his hand on the men and they all disappeared "Are they at the Vindice already?" She ask and Byakuran nodded happily.

"You can go home like 3pm~! I just need to rest a bit before transferring you four back~♪" He said and Shiroka look at the near clock and saw it was 1pm, she sigh as her cat features disappeared "Thanks" she said and Byakuran pat her on the head and whispered something on her before disappearing.

Shiroka blink for a second before shaking her head and look behind and nodded at the two ghost and they vanished as Shiroka transform back to her Cat form before jumping from the window and run from the place and as soon as she got away the small building where their base was in collapsed into pieces.

Shiroka look back before running away completely and as she neared the City she transform back to her Human Form as she begin to walk around, after checking a few shops and taking as many anime merch she can get and let Daemon hides it for her.

'This is technically stealing' she sweatdrop, guiltily taking her wallet and instead of paying directly to the cashier she left it silently at the side.

As shw enjoy's her remaining time, she find herself on a space where there's only a few people are either walking around or doing their own businesses.

'Ahh I'm so tired' she internally whined before checking the time.

'Oh only a few minutes left huh..' She stood there silently as shs closes her eyes waiting for the time.

"T-that!" She flinch at the voice 'Calm down... calm down Shiroka... calm down...' she chanted in her head before Byakuran words echoed in her mind.

"You can go home at 3pm~♪"

"Why don't you confront them? For the last time.."

She sigh silently, before she slowly turn around and saw her whole family standing behind her "What do you guys need?" She ask, face devoid of emotions "You're Amery right?!" Her mother exclaimed as she keep silent until het mother shakes her head "No... it's.. Charlotte!" This time she raised her eyebrows.

'Charlotte? But my name is..' she trailed off "Please Charlotte! I know you're mad for all what we did but please..." Her Father look down and clench his hands "Come back..." She narrowed her eyes at them.

"First you called me Amery now Charlotte? What games are you playing?" She ask as she cross her arms.

"No, do you remember the time when she.. Lily died...?" Andrew said and Shiroka hands twitch at the recognition, she knew the name but never knew what happened "You lose your memories as you also falls down with her but you survived because she saves you" Ernalina said "She wants to take her own life and she was about to fall but you managed to grasp her until the railing gave up and you both fell, but she protected you...!" She added.

"That's the reason we changed your name to Amery so that you won't remember what happened back then..!" Her father said, Shiroka keep silent as he grip her hands tightly.

"So ignoring me and neglecting me is also a right thing to do? Putting the blame on me? How fantastic, a fan-fucking-tastic idea" She answered.

"P-please Charlotte... I know, we know what we have done is wrong but please!" Her mother said.

"Please forgive us!" Kylio said his tears are slowly falling from his eyes and Shiroka stare blankly before Giotto ghostly appearance appear behind her "five minutes left.." he whispered.

Shiroka nodded before facing her crying family "I can't, and I won't" they flinch "Why? Why big sister!?" Kyline asked as she grasp Shiroka's who made no move anymore knowing that it will be the last time.

"Because I have a family waiting for me" She answered as Kyline grip Shiroka's hands tightly, Shiroka allowed it, after all...

Kyline was the only one who secretly tried to help her genuinely and she knew it.

The time when their family didn't left any food for her, Kyline will sneak up hers into Shiroka's room

When she has so many bruises from her parents, siblings and bullies she sneak in and secretly treat her bruise when she was asleep.

When the bullies are following her, she will block them and push them away and since she was admired by the whole campus she able to make them go away.

Everything, she knew that she was the only one who helped her.

Shiroka's eyes soften before she look back at them "I'm sorry but, even if you do everything, I won't go back because..." She trailed off remembering Reborn, Tsuna and the others smiling at her "I have a Family to return to" she said and give them a small smile before her hands starting to get transparent and everyone gasp.

"Big sister! What is happening?!" Kylio exclaimed "Why are you..." Andrew trailed off "Fading...?" Ernalina finished "Because I'm finally finished my mission.." she answered "That's why I need to go back" she said.

'After all there's no reason for me to keep all these feelings inside me, after all the damage had been done, there's no way to fix it and there's no other way to reverse it'

Before any of them can responded Shiroka raise her right hand "I accepted your apologies..." She said with a small smile, even if she was abuse by them a lot, she can't hate them that much after all... they are the people who takes care of her on the time that the accident didn't happened yet...

She look down at Kyline and hugged her tightly "Kyline.. thank you for everything you did those days..." The girl widened her eyes in surprise "Yeah, I knew it all... that's why I'm grateful, I'm so grateful for you.." she said as she becoming more transparent before she smiled before three ghostly appeared behind her as the family gape at the people.

Giotto smiled "She will be alright" he said "Nufufufu~ be happy that she forgives you" Daemon said "Hn, be grateful" Alaude added.

Shiroka kissed Kyline's forehead "Take care" She look up at the rest of her Family "All of you" She said before the three First Generation hold her shoulders and she give a last closed eye smile before completely disappearing leaving a small snowflake on Kyline's hand.
