Quinton's P.O.V
I was back at the hotel now crowded with everyone else in the check-in area. We were just waiting for like three more people to come down and then we could leave for the amusement park. I was actually excited for something. I had only seen Bryce twice today which was a huge accomplishment. The last three people came and we all boarded our way outside and into the vans. I was with Taylor, Payton, Mads, Nessa, Chase and Noen. Great people again. I was getting pretty lucky aaaannnndddd this meant I wouldn't have to sit anywhere near Bryce. I think that he was driving in Kelly's car anyways.

About twenty minutes into the drive I remembered that me and Bryce were supposed to be ride buddies but that obviously wasn't going to be a thing anymore. I had no idea what I was going to do. I told Mads and she said not to worry. She snapchated the group chat asking if anyone still didn't have a partner. Nessa and Jack replied fairly quickly. Mads snatched Nessa right away and I privately texted Jack asking if he wanted to be partners. He replied with a yes and one of these smiley faces :) which seemed like a good sign and that he actually wanted to be doing this. I thanked Mads and was pretty silent the rest of the drive, trying not to disturb anyone and also being really nervous.

About 40 minutes later we pulled up to the park and started filing out of the van. We were the last ones there so we only had to wait a couple of minutes for everyone to get with their "buddy" so we could all collect our tickets so we could actually get into the park. We got into a double line and waited our turn to show the guy working our tickets. He looked vaguely familiar but I just couldn't remember from where. It was on the tip of my tongue but I just ignored it so I could get on with my day. I know it will still bother me though.

We got through after showing him the tickets and broke off into small groups of buddies. Me, Jack, Mads, Nessa and James and Anthony who were partnering went together. I wondered why Anthony and James were together but I knew they were actually good friends and Josh and Jaden looked like they were in a group so it would really only make sense for them to go together. We went to the roller coaster first which just so happened to be the one Bryce and Kelly went to first. I stared at Bryce the whole time hoping he would look at me just so I could give him the stink eye but he never did. He actually never even glimpsed at me.

The line was pretty short so we only had to wait like two rounds before we got to go. Me and Jack obviously went together. I sat on the inside which meant Jack would be the one squishing me. I was glad because I obviously didn't want to kill him and this was the only way to ensure that I wouldn't. I tried giving him the most room in the small seat so he couldn't see my massive thighs. He didn't say anything so I hoped he didn't notice. It was a nice day today but still kind of windy which was perfect because it meant we wouldn't die from heat stroke.

It was only a couple minutes until the ride started. Some people had there arms up because they were insane but I kept mine down, nuckles turning white from holding onto the bar super tight. I looked over to Jack and he was doing the same thing accept he was screaming at the top of his lungs. I smiled at this but it dropped when I looked up and seen Kelly grasping onto Bryce's bicep. She was such a fucking chicken. I ungrasped the bar and stuck my arms up as high as they could go not giving a fuck what anyone thought about me for once in my life, I was fired up.

Jack looked at me in amazement but quickly went back to screaming. The wind felt nice in my hair so I let it almost take me away. It felt like I was in my tree. Finally free from the world, and for a couple of seconds even with everything going on for the first time in months I was actually happy. I know a foreign word coming from me unless it started with I'm not. But yeah I was happy even if it was just for a second.
