~~~~~~~~"Stop fighting me (Y/N)!" Your mother grabbed your arm and tried pulling you out of your room.
"Let go of me!" You screamed unable to pull out of her strong grip. She continued to yank you out of your hiding place and into the living room. "Mom stop! Your hurting me!" Tears filled your eyes, and threatened to fall at any second.
'I should be used to this..'
Your mother stopped when she heard your pained screams and then released your arm from her hold.
When you fell to the floor a sobbing mess, your mother looked down at you with a sympathetic look on her face. In her eyes she was helping so many people by having you heal them.
"(Y/n)..I'm sorry. But it's for the greater good. Just think about all the people your saving! Like that old woman with lung cancer? Remember her? She would have died if you didn't help her." Your mother tried but this only made your tears spill over with guilt.
You bit your lip to hold in the whimpers that wanted to leave your throat.
"Don't you want to save people
(Y/n)?" The woman in front of you placed a gentle hand on your cheek to try to comfort you. But you wouldn't have it, you jerked away causing your mother to sigh."(Y/n) why do you have to so difficult..?" Your mother rubbed her temple in frustration.
"Why won't you just accept the fact that the quirk you were gifted with will save so many lives?.."Thoughts turned in your mind for a moment before you let go of your trembling lip to allow the dangerous words slip out.
"I wasn't gifted with anything.." You mumbled, unable to face your mother.
The older woman paused then looked down at you.
"What was that?" Her voice suddenly became stern and cold towards you. Her posture straightened as she stared you down, waiting for your response.
You said nothing. Afraid of what might happen. Your parents had never hit you before but you were only 10, so anything was possible.
Your mother lost her patience and grabbed your chin tightly in her hands.
"Don't ignore me (Y/n). What did you say?" The two of you held each other's stare for a few seconds before a bulge of confidence welled up in your throat.
Jerking away from your mother's hold again, you gave her a pained look.
"My quirk isn't a blessing..it's a curse. I can hardly feel a simple touch on my skin... I shoved a needle through my finger but didn't feel more than a tingle." To your surprise, your voice sounded very confident.
Your mother's stare only darkened.
"That's the small price you have to pay so that other people can live. Stop being so selfish (Y/n)!" She paused. Her mind trying to process what just came out of her mouth. Oh but you had already processed and reacted. Tears spilled down your cheeks as you gritted your teeth.
"SO YOU'RE GOING TO LET YOUR OWN SON SUFFER BUT WHEN OTHER PEOPLE HURT..'Oh (Y/n) let's go to the hospital and have you heal this person. Oh! They paided me 56,000$..oh but I'm going to go buy me and your father a bunch of worthless SHIT rather than getting anything useful.' AND YOU'RE CALLING ME SELFISH?!" you stood in the middle of your yelling spree so you could feel like you were yelling louder.
Your mother sat, dumbfounded.
With tears streaming down your face you stormed up the stairs and then back into your room
Your mother called out for you, but that soon became a distant sound as your feet carried your further and further in to the uncertain path.
~30 minutes later~
You found yourself leaned up against your windsill. You didn't know where you were or were you had been. Your tears had dried to your cheeks, your eyelashes were damp, and believe it or not your mood hadn't lightened.
Your finger nails scratched against your forearm, only for your skin to show no sign of injury.
Frustrated you sighed and started to bang your head against the wall. To some relief a light sting filled your head for a few seconds before disappearing.
Music played in your ears, blocking out all outside sounds.
'It will all end soon...' Your music seemed to calm your thoughts.
Sadly...this was only the beginning
~9 years later~
You sat in a room. At least the best you could it was just a room. All that you knew was that your right leg was chained to a bed post.
Bags underlined your eyes as you stared at the dull gray wall. Little to no light alumantated the room. You had been sitting in here for 2 days. Every night a dark purple ish figure would come into the room and placed a tray of food on my bed side table.
You try to act asleep when the person came in, but it was hard when you were tying to get a good look at him.
It wasn't because you were trying to get an ID on him for the police. You were just curious on who took you from the hell you were living.
As you got older you were used more and more for your quirk. So much that you basically had your own room in the hospital.
Your parents had made millions of dollars off of your quirk. They had also sent you too a special school for "gifted" children. So basically it was for kids with really strong quirks.
Once the word got out that you had a powerful healing quirk everyone was crawling after you to heal them.
But you couldn't 100% complain. While you were in that high school you found out another use for your quirk. Yay....
You found out that you could calm someones thoughts.
You met a boy with a split Personality disorder. You helped him through a turmeric experience by simply placing your hands on both sides of his face. His personality's calmed down and so did he.
But that was the only good thing you could think of that happened. In a way you could say you were happy about this kidnapping.
I mean who wouldn't be? You were given good food every day. A fresh set of clothes was slipped through your door everyday. You were content with staying in bed and sleeping.
You owned a mp3 music player so you had music 24/7. You found out that you could slide your player under the door at night and find it charged on your table the next morning so that was wonderful.
But listening to music was getting a little old.
After a while you decided to lay down and take a small nap. What else were you going to do?
~later~
You jolted awake to the sound of yelling. A pitchy but somehow scratchy voice yelled at a deeper yet calmer one. The next thing you knew the door to your room was opened.
There in the doorway. Stood a man in black clothing. His hair was light blue, and his body was covered in...hands? One hand hid his face, but that didn't completely cover his dry scratched skin. Dulited red eyes peered at you.
"You..come here."
