Venom has just escaped from Ryker's Island and he was planning to destroy Spiderman once again in his hideout that was under a ruined bridge.
The symbiote has been craving to become one with Peter Parker aka Spiderman for a long time. Eddie and the symbiote have been bonded for over 2 years and the hatred that Eddie has for spiderman has not been enough for the symbiote to feed off.
"We need to find a plan that will work this time. the spider needs to suffer what he has done to us, said Eddie to his other. The symbiote was not even listening to him, it was thinking how to make Parker see that he made a mistake not accepting the power that it gave him.
"What if we kidnapped his girlfriend mj again and threatened to eat her brains if the spider doesn't umask himself, are you even listening to me? ask Eddie. The symbiote was daydreaming about skin to skin contact between it and Peters because it was only bonded to his suit when Peter had it.
The voice of Eddie took the symbiote back to reality. "What are you doing? we need to be in this together if we want the spider dead! Do you understand me? The symbiote had enough of Eddie's body and decided to leave him and go to find Parker.
As Eddie was talking he felt the symbiote latch of him and he started to scream. What! Are you leaving me? YOU ARRE NOT WORTHY OF OUR GIFTS, ONLY PARRKER IS. "No don't leave me, I need the power you give me to destroy Spiderman.
Eddie could only watch it slither towards the sewer drain that was nearby, he tried to grab it but the symbiote just went through his fingers and went down the drain, he could only watch it go away. He was frozen in horror to think that the symbiote wanted to become one with Spiderman after all that he has done to them, "I need to reach Peter before it can, he told himself.
