Y'know Shoto thought this was all really fucking cliché. He especially thought it was cliché as he walked into the coffee shop a month after Denki's arrest, single and a little sad about that fact. Denki kissed him after all, but neither made to do anything about it. Izuku was next to him and he was talking about some new guy he was talking to, Shoto had a sneaking suspicion it was a friend of a friend. The dual haired boy waved at his roommate as he and his friend made their way to the table they had their first date at. It didn't mean anything to them though, it was just ironic.
The blonde made his way over because he caught Shoto's glances every few minutes and assumed they were ready to order. He was nervous, was Shoto still mad at him? His doc martins hit the tiled ground in a tip tap pattern and Izuku started laughing really hard. It confused the yellow blonde for a moment and he paused. 'They weren't back together were they?' He cursed himself for thinking like that Hitoshi was talking about Izuku just the other day.
In all actuality Izuku was laughing at the panicked look on his friend's face. He thought the boy's gay panic was the funniest thing he's ever seen because that boy definitely was not good at hiding how he feels. Shoto was blushing and he forced his eyes to the table, his expression looked quite pained if we're being honest here. "The usual?" The green haired boy flicked his eyes up at the other's.
"Yeah that's be great, thanks Denki."
"Shoto?"
He flicked his multicolored eyes up at the other boy and took a deep breath. "Will you go out with me?" Oh shit, now Shoto really thought this was cliché.
"Hold up, I asked if you wanted your regular coffee order? I'm so fucking confused." The blonde was nervously shuffling on his feet.
"Oh yeah, I want the usual. Now can you answer my question?" The red and white haired boy leaned on his hands and tilted his head.
Denki stood stark still for a minute before turning to Izuku. "Is he for real?"
Izuku didn't even get the chance to answer. "Yes I'm 100% serious."
"Sure, you know my work schedule, see you at home." With that the blonde hurried away from Izuku and Shoto with a blush on his neck. "Fuck yes!" Was heard throughout the café from the back room.
Izuku chuckled and Shoto simply said, "I can't wait to get home."
He can't wait to get home, back to Room 212.
