Chapter 15 - His angel

Amy's Pov:

I woke up with Jace's arms wrapped around me tightly, like he was scared I was going to run away. I try to wiggle out of his arms but he only tightens his grip.

"Stay here" I hear his morning voice (and GOD it's sexy!)

"Jace, we need to get up it's midday" I say, still trying to get out of his hold

In a matter of seconds, I am trapped under Jace, with my hands held above my head and Jace hovering over me. Wearing that smirk.

"And I said stay here" he says

"Jace, we – "

He silences me by attacking my lips with his. Great. I instantly respond back and try to move my hands through his hair, but he holds them above my head with one hand, whilst his other explores my body. He trails his kisses down my neck, sucking on my weak spot. He comes back to my lips and then looks me dead in the eyes.

"You going to listen to me now" he says followed by a smirk

Two can play this game

"You aren't the boss of me" I say

His hand runs along the edge of my stomach, very lightly making me gasp. He continues along the top of my thighs, close to my girly, and up my stomach, until chocking me lightly. He brings his head down to the bottom of my ear, his breath hitting my neck.

"You sure" he says, making the hairs on my neck stick up

I close my eyes and try to maintain my breathing. How does he affect me this much! He chuckles and gets off me, walking to the bathroom. After he closes the bathroom door, I spread my arms out like a starfish, stabilising my breathing. After laying there for a couple of minutes, I get up and go pick out my clothes for the day. I decide on wearing a white crop top, with black high waisted shorts and my favourite pair of sneakers. I put my hair in a high ponytail, and then go downstairs to the kitchen where I stuff my face with food. As I enter the kitchen, I notice Jess and Sarah.

All three of us just stare at each other. No one saying anything.

"I'm sorry" I say

"Why are you sorry" Jess says

"Because, if it wasn't for me, you wouldn't have been kidnapped by Cameron and his gang, you wouldn't have been in danger."

"Amy, it wasn't your fault" Sarah says coming over to me.

"It is, I should have told you guys everything, but I kept it from you. I didn't know what to say to you guys, or even how to act. Everything has been so terrifying and I hate that I lied to you, I really did but –"

"Amy! Shut up and let us talk" Jess interrupts me

"We are the ones who should be sorry. We understand why you didn't tell us. You were keeping the trust between you and Jace, and that is way more important than telling people you are dating a gang leader. As for Cameron, it would have happened either way. He is or was after you and he was going to do anything to get to you. So no Amy, none of this was your fault." Jess says

I look at them with tears in my eyes. I have two of the best friends anyone could ever ask for. I grabbed them both and we all hugged each other like our lives depended on it. If it wasn't for these two buffoons, I would be stuck in school with a cheating boyfriend who didn't care about me one bit. I now have the best boyfriend a girl could ever want, with my two best friends by my side.

---- 2 years later ----

After Cameron died, his gang just disappeared of the face of the earth. No one knew where all his members went. Some say they joined other gangs, or they just left the gang life behind. All I know is that Cameron is no longer alive to tear me away from my life with my amazing friends. Jace and I are still going strong, I have helped him with his gang, and he has helped me adapt to gang life. After all I am the Gang leader's angel.

"Amy hurry up I want to show you something" Jess yells from the backyard. I am currently in the kitchen grabbing a bowl of chicken.

"I am coming! Jeez don't get your panties in a twist" I say walking to the back door and going outside. I grab a piece of chicken and then look up.

"What is so important that you had to – " I freeze and drop the chicken on the floor. OMG.

There in front of me is a trail of lights on the ground leading to Jace, who stands tall in a black suit holding a bouquet of flowers. Roses to be exact. I walk up to Jace slowly not taking my eyes of him. I didn't even notice all our friends standing around him. I approach him and he looks down at me, with a loving smile. He hands me to bouquet of roses and give me a kiss on my forehead. Jess comes and takes the roses from me, as Jace takes a deep breath and gets down on one knee. Oh my!

"Amy, the moment I first saw you I knew you were different. You didn't throw yourself at me, you didn't treat me like every other girl I have met. In fact, you didn't want anything to do with me. I knew from that moment that I wanted to get to know you, I wanted you to be mine. Yes, I kidnapped you, but I don't regret that, and I never will because if you didn't see that murder that day, you would have never come into my life the way you did. You have been my rock, my best friend, and the best girlfriend a man could ever dream of having. I want to wake up next to you every morning, I want to spend every waking hour of the rest of my life with you. Amy Michaels, will you please do me the honour and become Amy Ross?" he says looking up at me.

I stand completely still, tears streaming down my face. I have loved this man ever since that day where he told me I was going to be his 'fake girlfriend'. This man has become my soulmate, my second half.

"Yes Jace, Yes!" I say, trying not to cry.

Jace has the biggest smile on his face as he stands up and slides the ring onto my finger. He picks me up and spins me around, hugging me so tightly. He puts me down and kisses me with so much passion. Everyone around us is cheering and clapping, whilst Jace and I look into each other's eyes and smile.

"You are my angel" he says

I have always been the gang leaders angel.
