~ (y/n)'s P.O.V. ~
Five sat on the toilet, quickly taking the file out and opening it. He was barely able to skim a few lines before he looked up, a scowl on his face.
"Shit." Five grabbed my wrist, pulling me to him, then he had me straddle him, pulling my legs up around his hips. My eyes widened.
"What are you-" Five shushed me, holding a finger over my lips, then he pointed to his ear. I furrowed my brow, listening. The door opened and the sound of heels clinking let me know who it was. I sighed. "Shit."
"So, how's your first day going?" The Handler asked. Five closed the file between us, fake smiling.
"Couldn't be better." He replied, voice dry as he turned his eyes to the ceiling. If I didn't know better, I would've said he was praying.
"Glad to hear it." The Handler quipped, then it was quiet. I grimaced as The Handle began to pee, then she was coughing. Five shook his head, moving to put the file back under his vest. I leaned back, trying to help him with what limited space we had.
"Ah. I burned my rugae. Ever burn your rugae? Rugae." The Handler spoke up. I got the file from Five and worked it up his vest while he held the vest edges up a little. "The ridges on the hard palate that help pass food to the esophagus. Anyway, I'm on a liquid diet for two days, hence the marathon of urination. One faulty cog, and nothing works as it should." The Handler continued. Five pushed his vest back down once the file was fully against him, then he closed his jacket up a little more, hunching over until we were chest to chest.
"You know, we value integrity at the office above all else. Trust is essential, and that trust is... built over time." I stared up at the ceiling, knowing partly where she was taking this as she finished her business and worked to get her skirt back on. "But in the event of a breach, the Commission will act swiftly and without mercy. An efficiency I'm sure you above all people can appreciate, Number Five." The toilet flushed and she walked towards the sinks. "Speaking of trust, I've noticed you and (y/n) have become closer since the last time I saw you work together." Five nodded.
"Yep, definitely." Five said, giving another tight smile, looking up and away from me.
"How is she by the way? I haven't seen her anywhere since you both went back to your desk and she'd been attached to your hip since you've come back." The sink water ran. "Plus I saw her come in here with you, but she never left so I assume she's in the stall with you. Hi, (y/n) dear." I shut my eyes, sighing.
"Hi, Auntie Handler. I'm fine." I spoke up. The Handler hummed, turning the sink off and going to dry her hands.
"You seem to have made things up with Five, which is good! I know how devastated you were after he left you." The Handler told me. I nodded my head, opening my eyes.
"Yep." I replied, glancing to the stall wall and praying for her to leave.
"May I ask what you're doing in the stall together?" The Handler questioned. I cleared my throat, looking to Five with wide eyes. His face only reflected my panic and he shrugged at me.
"Uh, we were having... sex?" I answered, voice hesitant. I winced and Five sent me a deadpanned look. I gave him an open gesture, not knowing what else to say. Five just shook his head, cheeks reddening as he dropped his head on my shoulder.
"Oh? Well, I hope you two are using protection, can't have any children running- or should I say teleporting around the office yet. Try to finish up within the next ten minutes, will you? I assume you both have been busy and haven't had lunch and I'd love to chat with you both in my office." The Handler said, taking my reply in stride. I nodded.
"Sure thing." I said, then listened to the clink of her heels as she left. It was quiet for a moment between us, then Five lifted his head.
"That's the best excuse you could come up with?" He hissed out and I shook my head.
"I don't want to hear it from you." I whispered back, then we went quiet again. I lifted a hand hesitantly, then ran my fingers through the front of his hair, beginning to mess up the part he had in it. Five quickly reached up, grabbing my wrist.
"What are you doing?" Five asked and I huffed.
"Well, pretty boy, we might as well make my lie look believable. We can't just waltz in looking life nothing happened, so we make the subtle differences." I told him. Five quirked an eyebrow at me, then shrugged.
"In that case," Five leaned forward, kissing me. I froze at the suddeness of it, not expecting it, then I melted into the kiss as he let go of my wrist. Five moved his hands coming to hold my waist. I scrunched my hand into Five's hair, letting my other hand come up to cup his face.
Five pulled himself away from the kiss, trailing small kisses down my jaw and to my neck. I kept my eyes closed, tilting my neck slightly with a hum. The gentleness in his actions made the butterflies stir, and when his hands gripped my hips tighter, then he pulled me closer, my head was in the clouds, dazed as he slowly pulled from me. I opened my eyes to see him smiling at me.
"All done." His voice was a murmur and I furrowed my eyebrows, then I widened my eyes in realization.
"Oh, my God, Five, you didn't." His smile widened, showing his teeth as I pushed off of him, unlocking the stall door to make my way to the mirror. Five followed after me, leaning against the stall wall. I was staring at the faint mark near the collar of my shirt that I knew would darken with time before it went away. "Five, what the hell?" I cried out. Five shrugged, looking at me in the mirror.
"You said make it believable." Five said, defending himself. I scoffed.
"Not with a hickey, you ass." I replied back. Five pushed off of the stall, wrapping a arm around my waist and resting his chin on my shoulder.
"I don't know, seemed like you were enjoying it." Five told me quietly. I felt my face burn as he pouted. "Besides, I thought I was pretty boy." I frowned at him, taking in his messy hair and his lazy smile.
"We should go, before my Aunt comes to check on us a second time. She doesn't like to be kept waiting for lunch." I said, changing the subject. Five hummed, placing a kiss on my cheek.
"I suppose so. I'll return the folder before Dot notices, just head to her office, okay?" I nodded, and Five pushed off of me, then turned me around, quickly kissing me, then he warped away. I sighed, shaking my head as I took a final look at the hickey on my neck, then I left the restroom, heading to The Handler's office.
