I love you Onee-chan - 1

The sound of children laughing resonated around the playground as the parents watched their children interact with each other. One particular child was building a sand castle all by themselves but not looking any less determined alone.

"Hey! My name is Ken, what's your name?"

Hearing someone's voice directed at them, Alluka turned around and saw another boy looked at them with intense, curious eyes. Their onee-chan warned them to not give anyone their real name.

"Hello. My name is Asuna."

"Do you want to have a sandcastle contest with my friends?"

They looked at onee-chan for a second who nodded their head in approval. Smiling, they responded.

"Sure!"

Killua was seated in a conspicuous corner observing Alluka who seemed to have made a friend without a hitch. Sometimes he wondered what his life would have been like if he hadn't been trained as an assassin. Would he be a social person who flourished under many eyes or someone shy who thrived in the shadows?

The footsteps of someone approaching put him on extra alert and sharpened his claws which were in his pockets.

"No need for such hostility. I only came to talk."

The sound of Gittarackur's voice showed no emotion as he slowly pulled out the needles in his face. His face began to change forms until it stopped to show Illumi Zoldyck's face. Killua slowly turned to face him, his killing intent and bloodthirst leaking out as his eyes became emotionless.

"What are you doing here Illumi?"

"I'm here to take you back home as well as that thing."

Growling, Killua appeared in front of Illumi in a flash and pushed his nails into his jugular.

"Don't call them that!"

"Oh. Do you still have a soft spot for that thing? I'll make sure to take it out once you return."

Killua took a deep breath through his nose and retracted his nails, looking even more menacing now that his emotions aren't driving him.

"We won't be going with you Illumi. Tell mother I refused. Besides, father gave me his blessing to be outside of Kukurro Mountain so he'll just release me afterwards."

"I wouldn't be too sure about that. You are nearing the age of training to be the family head and the responsibilities that come with it. That means harder 'training' regimes and poison exposures."

"I already told you, I'm never going back."

"Well that's too bad. I guess I'll just have to kill the thing now."

Illumi disappeared in a flash leaving Killua behind who's heart began pumping furiously and running towards Alluka. He used his astounishing speed and managed to carry Alluka out of harm's way a millisecond before Illumi touched them.

Killua kept running through the forestry using the many leaves as a cover to slow Illumi down. Alluka shifted in Killua's arms looking at him with a contemplative expression.

"Onee-chan, do you love me?"

Killua almost stumbled over his own feet looking shocked and saddened.

"Of course I love you."

Alluka looked at him with tears in their eyes and said,

"Make the most of it."

Before Killua could respond a bright light engolfed him and his surroundings.
