crush! chapter six!
BEING A STUDENT AT U.A. IS TEDIOUS. Especially being in the hero course (not to mention class 1-A is notorious for always running into trouble). (Y/N) is about ready to beat up Mr. Aizawa if he decides to give out anymore homework when they just got done with the sports festival! (He really was pushing her to her limit!)
Not even to mention the fact that Bakugo has been in a slump ever since winning the sports festival. She didn't understand why. Was it his pride? She didn't know. But everytime she asked him he would brush it off or scowl at her until the subject was dropped.
She's his girlfriend! She's supposed to be there for him and support him and help him with his problems but she couldn't force it out of him. (Y/N) wanted him to come to her and tell her about it, but knowing him, he's too stubborn.
"Katsuki," She spoke up as the two walked home hand in hand. "Why wont you talk to me?"
"Heh??" He looked down at her. The two slowed down until they stood, Bakugo looking at the (h/c)-nette who stared at their intwined hands.
"You won't tell me anything. The sports festival, the thing with Midoriya, how you're feeling." She locked her eyes on his own. "I want to know. I want to know all your feelings, Katsuki. So, please tell me."
Bakugo only grumbled as he averted his eyes.
"It's nothin'." He grumbled and the girl only narrowed her eyes at his words.
"It's not nothing, Suki. You've been acting weird since the festival. Tell me." She pressed and Bakugo only grumbled more. "I'm your girlfriend, right? So, why won't you tell me what's up with you?! I just–"
"You just what?!" He interrupted, spinning around to face her with a snarl. "You want to pity me? I don't want your fucking pity, (Y/N)."
"I'm not pitying you. I just want to be there for you when you need me–" Bakugo interrupted her again.
"I don't need you be there for me all the time! Dammit, just fuck off." He mumbled angrily and (Y/N) just stared at him.
Now, (Y/N) wasn't big on confrontation nor did she enjoy getting angry. But this angsty dumbass was pushing her last buttons.
"Katsuki–"
"Don't 'Katsuki' me–"
"Stop interrupting me, you idiot!" She yelled, surprising her blond boyfriend. "I'm tired of your little angsty act! I'm telling you I'm here for you and I'm in your corner but you keep yelling at me! I know you're angry about winning the festival, okay?! I know you are! But you aren't telling me anything! How am I supposed to call myself your girlfriend when you won't talk to me."
Bakugo stood up, moving to stand next to (Y/N), gently wiping the tears she didn't know she shed. "H–Hey, stop crying. . . I'm sorry."
Bakugo placed his hand on her cheek, his thumb wiping her tears before he pulled her into his chest. "I just. . . didn't think it mattered to you that much."
"You're so dumb, of course it mattered." She mumbled into his chest as her arms raked around his waist. "I'm sorry too, for pushing you to tell me. You've just been acting different and I didn't like seeing you like that."
"D. . . Don't apologize." He muttered into her hair. "It's my fault. Sorry."
They broke from the hug. His lips quirked up awkwardly as he stared at her puffy red eyes. He didn't know how to comfort a crying girl; he was the reason girls cried! Stiffly, he placed a peck on her forehead, face tinted pink. (Y/N) pouted, leaning up and placing a kiss on his lips gently, both their faces exploding in red.
". . . Will you tell me now?" She asked softly and Bakugo let out a small sigh as he nodded his head, averting his eyes away from her own.
"Yeah. . . I'll tell you." He whispered, his grip on her shoulders tightening slightly. His face turned red again. "B–But don't tell anyone! Or I'll kick your ass!"
"Okay, Suki." She giggled at his cute behavior. "I promise I won't tell anyone."
