It was 6:47 p.m, and my hand was covered in black veins. We came to a deserted beach house. "Is it ok to be here?" I said while holding my hand. "Yeah. Nobody has been here in 3 years. Go sit down in that chair over there." Instead of sitting down I roamed around the beautiful house. Making my way up a spiral case of stairs a picture caught my attention. It was Luke he had on beach shorts, and a surfboard in his hand. In the picture he had the same grin he always showed. His slightly tanned body was so muscular, and his abs rippled with water on it.

"You like what you see?" Luke said laughing. His head was leaned on the wall, and his arms were crossed.

"I was looking at the sunset in the picture. Not you. I mean you are something to look at. But uhh."

He chuckled again "Let's get to your hand."

"Oh yeah my hand." I was so intrigued by the house that I was ignoring the pain.

As I followed behind him I started to wonder. Why aren't you freaking out right now? All of the things that happened since yesterday didn't bother me as much as it was supposed to. Like I've experienced it to many times before. Which was strange. "Sit down in that chair by the table." I sat down, and looked at the items on the table. A bowl with water in it, a towel, and a pillow. Luke sat down and said "Ready to begin?" Glancing at him then the items I said "I don't think so." He grabbed my hand and handed me the pillow. "Put it in your mouth. This is going to hurt like a motherfucker." I did as he said, and he nodded his head. He tore a strip of towel, wrapped it around my wrist, and tied it tightly. Thats how far the black veins reached. "OK. On the count of three." After thinking it through I agreed. "Luke gripped my wrist so hard it hurt. I tried to pull away, but it didn't help. Glaring at me with assuring eyes "Three!". My hand was plunged into the water. I screamed into the pillow. My hand felt like it was burning. The pain was excrutiating. Sweat was forming on my face, and I was in a state of panic.

Spitting out the pillow I said "What the hell!" I looked up at Luke, and stopped talking. His ice blue eyes were now white looking down at my hand. He took my hand out of the water and brought it inches away from his lips. "The purest of light I give unto thee. An unclean touch can not harness this power of holy feeling. For no darkness can withstand." The blackness from my hand retreated. It was amazing my hand was normal again. Luke on the otherhand didn't look too good. His hand was now turning black traveling rapidly up his arms to his face. His eyes turned black, and his skin went pale. "LUKE! What's wrong!" He was in a trance still gripping my hand. The blackness escaped seeping from his mouth as he slowly opened it, and fell into what I thought was water. It disintegrated in a minute. Luke's eyes went back to normal. His color returned also. He let go of my hand, and started coughing gasping for air. Bringing his hand to his chest bending over. I went over to him and laid my hand on his back.

"Hey?" I said in worry.

He finally grinned saying "I'm okay Rose. Just haven't done that in awhile."

I sighed a breath of relief "Don't scare me like that!"

He got his breathing together.

"What was this whole crazy experiment?"

Face growing serious "Your hand was rotting. Demon saliva will turn you into a walking corpse. I did a process called RR. Short for Reverse Rot. Placing your hand in holy water will subdue the rotting, but not get rid of it. The burning was because you were rotting by an unclean demon. The spell I said was created by angels of ancient times. When I said the words of the angels while holding your hand the evil couldn't stand the touch of pureness. I lured it out, and it latched onto my body. But it could not withstand my body. So it seeped right out of my mouth into the holy water."
