Today is your day to make a decision. You're in between the balance.
Your vulnerable oblivious state.
Do you know who you are?
Do you KNOW?
You will soon find out.

RING RING!!

The sound of that noise always wakes me up. No matter the dire situation. I hopped up to the realization of me being back in bed. "People just love seeing me naked while I'm sleep! Who was it this time? Candy man or Freddy Kreuger!" RING RING! My phone was still ringing. I picked up my phone to see my mother's name. "Well she did say they would call."

Answering the phone I groaned saying "Hello."

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY ROSEY!" my mom and dad said in unison.

"Thanks you guys." I slightly raised a smile. They weren't here to celebrate it with me.

"What are you going to do today honey? You can't really do to much its a quarter past nine. We've been trying to call you the whole day." my mom said.

"Its that late! Guess I've been tired. Oh I'm going to go have dinner and a movie." I lied Arianna was going to sneak me into a really popular nightclub.

"That sounds fun. Ok honey I have to go. Love you. Be safe!"

"Alright love you to..." Click. Our phone call had ended in only 3 minutes.

If she tried calling me the whole day I must've been in a coma. My ringtone always wakes me up. I went downstairs and my house was normal. No glass shattered, no holes in my wall, absolutely no aftermath of the encounter I had with Meladona. Also observing my body I was fine, and my body wasn't aching. It couldn't have just been a figment of my imagination.

Looking back at my phone I had dozens of text messages telling me happy 17th birthday. To be completely honest I was actually scared of what events would occur on this day. Looking at my bed on the opposite side of where I laid had a indention as if somebody slept with me. Smoothing the covers down I also felt the heat that they left. Walking towards the window I peered out at the night being bathed by the stars. I blinked again and suddenly the stars were multiplied by a thousand. Pacing over to the mirror I looked at my reflection. My eyes were brighter than they had ever been.

One step at a time. A voice muffled in my head.

RING RING! The noise was really irritating that time. I looked at it to see Arianna and quickly answered it. "What day is it...August 1st! Happy Birthday! I'm coming in a hour by taxi. Be ready birthday girl!" Click. She hung up.

Deciding to ignore the strange occurrences I grabbed the red lace dress and headed to the bathroom.

The dress fitted perfectly over my body, makeup done to equilization, and hair was curled. Sliding on some black heels my look was now complete.

Arianna came in "OH MY GOSH! You look so awesome! You look just like a Barbie doll."

Again I asked how did she get in my house. I cringed at that compliment. Barbie dolls actually looked too great. She came over and hugged me tight singing happy birthday really fast. We both laughed. Taking me to the mirror she said "We don't even look like we're in high school..." I finished for her "And that's awesome!" Pumping my fist in the air in excitement. She patted down her pink provocative dress. "Are you ready to go? Our carriage awaits." I nodded my head.

It was my first time ever going to a club. Couldn't wait one more year anticipation was killing me. While standing outside in the line the music was so loud you could hear it out here. Me and Arianna were so pumped we began dancing goofily and stopped once we looked immature. We needed a plan to look 20 again.
