Three months ago the world seemed bright.
Not long ago were we out day and night.
Sometime back we were with each-other.
Now we're distanced and far from one another.
Pollution was yuck, but now it's almost cleaned up.
Animals were dying, but now sea turtles are thriving.
Nature seemed to heal in the most beautiful way.
Now it doesn't have humans demolishing its display.
We should be happy with the sudden time we have,
Yet why do I miss what the past held back?
I miss the laughs of my classmates and the joy I felt.
I miss seeing normal life and the way we dealt.
The world goes on and it won't stop for me.
How do I gain back that root of seed?
The reality is I can't and no one can.
Oh, what would I give to take back that life plan?5/7/20
