Hunter x Hunter - Hisoka Part 5

Hisoka was felt his bloodlust roar with how despicably they were treating her, his Angel, and something snapped inside him when he noticed that they were about to rape her on top of it all. To them it was like a fiery jester demon appeared out of nowhere and knocked them flying. Chi looked at the person saving her, removed the gag and said "Hisoka!"

"Yes?" He snarled in anger, glancing at her but concentrating on the two men who had dared hurt his Angel.

Chi cowered back from him as she saw the anger and bloodlust in his eyes, but for some reason she thought that it wasn't for her as the schwing feeling was there as well, despite her fear. "Don't kill them, take them in."

"Okay my Angel, go home, I'll take care of it." And flicked the men back and forth a few more times with his bungee gum.

Chi didn't notice him do this as she was scrambling to pick up her stuff and ran home crying.
Hisoka dumped the two men at the local police station and reported what happened as a hunter and unwittingly ended up with a large reward that had been on the pair for some time that had been set by a rich client whose daughter they had abused.

Had he killed them, as was his instinctive reaction, he would have missed out on the reward. He hadn't killed them, only because Chi had asked it of him. He snarled at the men "You're lucky to be alive, you better thank Chi's God for that because there is no way I would have let you live" The men shrunk away in fear and swore never to touch another woman that way again. Hisoka left not even bothering to listen to them. He was more concerned about Chi.

He showed up on Chi's door and knocked. Chi answered still severely shaken. "Hisoka what are you doing here? How did you find me?"

"By Leorio and the Hunters guild."

"You're a hunter,"

"Yes, please let me in."

"Oh right" as she unlocked the door and let him in.

Chi didn't know what to do as she was still feeling fragile from what happened and didn't know what to do with her feelings about Hisoka. She thought with moving that she would never see him again despite dreaming occasionally about him. Instead of anything rational, she burst into tears.

Hisoka reacted by picking her up and taking her to the couch he had spotted from the door and just hugged her and whispered into her hair "It's ok my angel, your safe now" In his mind he thought "Safe? Who are you kidding Hisoka? She's not safe with you."

Chi cried herself to sleep in his arms and didn't know anything more till morning.

Meanwhile, Hisoka moved her to her bed and called her work. He explained that she would need a few days to process what had happened to her before she could go back. Luckily, the nurse that took the call had been in a similar situation and told him she would clear her shifts for the week. She would still be paid in full though as she thought that Chi would worry about money.

Hisoka went back to Chi and fell asleep holding her hand on a chair next to her. When Chi awoke the next day, she found Hisoka asleep with her hand in his. It was rather an odd feeling waking up wondering why your hand is being held and seeing the owner of the hand and receiving a massive schwing feeling at the same time. "Whaaa?" She thought as she snatched her hand back.

Hisoka woke then and smiled at her lovingly. "Good morning Angel, how are you today?"

The events of the past night flashed through her memory "I, uh, don't know..."

She paused as she remembered him appearing out of nowhere to rescue her "Uh, thanks for rescuing me...I appreciate it, but how?" Her mind froze as she struggled to understand what had happened. Her mind did a complete back flip as she realized that she was supposed to be at work. She started scrambling to get ready.

Hisoka grabbed her and looked her in the eyes, momentarily quieting her" What are you doing?" He asked

"Getting ready for work, I didn't cancel, they would be frantic without me showing up...why didn't they ring?"

"I called them last night and cancelled your shifts for the week " Hisoka said calmly

"How could you?!?!" She splattered out in clear fury.

"Because you need to process what happened to you. There's no way it couldn't affect you. It affected me and I am not the one it happened to." Hisoka tried to be calm but his anger, at what he saw as his girl being hurt, was a living thing.

"Why are you being so nice?" She wondered aloud.

"Now really isn't the time for this, but I meant it what I asked you in GoChica. " Hisoka replied.

"Huh? You asked me something back there? I don't remember it."

"I am not surprised, you turned me down flat." He said dryly.

"I did?" she asked in surprise "I feel awful now, but what did you ask?"

"I asked you to marry me"

"Oh no wonder I forgot...I thought that you were kidding like every other single male patient out there I have looked after. Now I am concerned that some of the proposals were real..." Chi started to panic and get flustered again.

"It's ok Chi... don't worry about it." He said calming her down. "What do you want to do today, since you have the week off and I am not going anywhere for a while, that I know of."

Chi pondered the question and answered " How about we work that out after breakfast? I need a shower..."

"Can I join you?" He asked sexily thinking that he would love to see her naked.

"No!" She said in a voice that Brooked no argument. Though after smelling him said " You can have one after me though, I will lend you some clothes as those smell and need a wash."

She went and grabbed what they both needed and put them in the shower room. While she was in the shower Hisoka wandered around the apartment trying to piece together her life from it, after all stalking doesn't actually let you in the persons house if your being honest with it. This time he had been.

He found the washing machine and decided to put most of the clothes in the machine ready to wash along with the washing powder he found. He then wandered back to the bathroom and waited. It turned out to be sometime as Chi broke down in the shower over the events of the night before. Eventually she remembered her rather sexy but disturbing guest and exited the bathroom to find a nearly naked Hisoka waiting for her on a chair. She blushed red and ran to her room "Your turn " she muttered as she ran past.
