Chapter two: where secrets lie

     Pearl was the first to wake up. She was in-between Garnet and Amethyst, so getting out to start her day was tedious but she managed.. Pearl made coffee, which only her and Garnet drink. Pearl sipped the coffee as she made scramble eggs and cheap bacon when amethyst woke up.
"Oh my GAWD P!" Amethyst yawned loudly as she jumped on the dinning room chair. "That smells amaz-balls!" Pearl giggled as she dished up  the food. Pearl was about to go to the sink to start the dishes when a pair of arms wrapped around her waist making Pearl jump around to find Garnet in her signature glasses. Garnet kissed Pearl on the lips and smiled.
"Morning my sexy girls.." Pearl returned the kiss giggling as Garnet bent down and kissed Amethyst head, while the short Latino was stuffing her face with eggs.
"Sup G-squad" she muttered as Pearl started running water "P made breakfast." Garnet hummed as she sat at the table and started to eat. Pearl was about to walk out when Garnet grabbed the pale girls hand.
"And is 'P' joining us?" Garnet said in a seductive way. Pearl blushed a little mumbling a response.
"I'm not that hungry" Amethyst made a 'PFFFFTTT' noise and Pearl glared at her until Garnet cleared her throat.
"One bite.. Please..." Pearl couldn't say no to that face so she sighed and took a bite off of Garnets fork then walked off ignoring Amethyst mumble 'hope that satisfied you'. Pearl rushed into the bathroom, and spit the eggs onto a tissue and flushed it down the toilet. Pearl then showered, put on her dark blue dress with a black and golden bow on the side, and then went to put her makeup on when her when she felt the choker she shoved in there last night.
"What the.." Pearl whispered as she inspect it. "How did... My dream.." When Amethyst loud voice boomed.
"Yo P, you almost done In there?" Pearl looked up out of her daze.
"Huh, oh yeah, give me a sec!" She yelled as she cleaned up her little mess, and hid the choker as well as she could in her fist, Pearl than ran (more like speed walk) out of the bathroom and into the bed room where she shoved the choker in her small hand bag. Then Garnet walked in, and grabbed some of her stuff then sat on the bed changing into her coffee house t-shirt which was owned by her two moms Ruby and Sapphire.
"So what's the plan today Pearl?" Garnet asked slipping into her old skinny jeans.
"Well" Pearl shooed her off the bed. "First I have to make the bed so up!" Garnet laughed as she walked to the other side to help. "Then I have to try and submit my rocket design to the university before midnight, then they wanted me to help with the elderly street again because of Halloween pranksters messing up the yards, and Connie.. You remember her? Well I'm babysitting because her parents are leaving today about noon then at 3 her little friend wants to have a sleep over so I'm dropping her off, then til 8 I have to teach fencing and ballet for kids.." Garnet whistled as Pearl tossed her the last pillow. "What about you?" The pale girl asked her girlfriend.
"My mums need me to work at the coffee house for a few hours, then me and amethyst have to go to the gym since Jasper has been being harsh to the people who've been coming up to train, Amethyst and Vadila are doing some cooking thing where they are selling what they bake at some street fair which I have to drive them to, and I'm taking Connie off of my girlfriends hands so she has time to work on her rocket assignment." Pearl gasped a little.
"B-but Garnet!" Garnet stepped closer and kissed Pearl.
"Put your butts away." Pearl giggled. "You need it! And Amethyst gets along great with Connie so it's no trouble." Pearl sighed as she straightened herself out.
"Okay" Pearl kissed garnet "I trust you.. But you have to pick her up a-"
"Pearl I know where Connie lives.. Now go the elders are waiting for you!" Garnet giggled as she pushed her girlfriend in the living room where amethyst was sitting on the couch, Pearl kissed Amethyst on the head. A few goodbyes were shared and then Pearl left with her two girlfriends leaving shortly after.
Time skip
The elderly street was a bunch of mobile homes reserved for the elderly. It was to make the elderly feel like they are still somewhat independent, but have helpers come in every so often to cook meals, do house work, take them outside, give them medication, and other stuff to make sure their alive. Pearl never really minded it, she loved working with elderly people they were so nice, her favorite was Nanafi a small elderly who owned "Fish Stew Pizza" and would often give Pearl free passes to go there whenever as a thank you..
Pearl had just finished up and was sitting down with Nanafi, while the elderly women complained about Mayor Dewy not being a good mayor and how if she'd had her chance she'd take it.. Pearl glanced at the clock it was 11:50 she would have time to go home and change and be at the studio by noon when Nanafi interrupted pearls thoughts when she grabbed pearls hand bag and grab the choker
"I thought I smelt bad magic" came her old voice as she traced it like an old relic she hasn't seen in ages Pearl made a step closer to maybe take the necklace.. The tall girl wasn't sure "someone very powerful has eyes for you" Pearl opened her dry mouth to close it quickly and swallowed thickly.
"I don't know how that got in there I-" Nanafi hit Pearls knee with Pearls hand bag as she walked past her to the small living room Pearl stood there staring at the elderly lady in shock
"It's been years.. but I know a fib, I have two grandchildren and a child, all bad liars" Nanafi said all cheerful. Her attention strayed to the necklace once again as it feel to the table. "Now where'd you get this" Pearl plopped on the floor.
