You and Director Krennic had been secretly dating for almost 4 months now. You both had a routine down. It benefited both of you, and neither of you ever had problems with it. Ever.

The past few days had been stressful for both of you, especially Orson. You did your best to keep him at bay, but, he was a force of nature. You physically couldn't. It simply wasn't possible, no matter who it was, it wasn't possible.

Galen had sent a cargo pilot to find Saw Gerrera, with an important message for both the Extremist and Erso's daughter, Jyn. He was on Jedha, and, so were a few Rebels who had found out about the Death Star's full potential. Krennic and Tarkin both agreed, for once, that they should test the super weapon on Jedha.

Krennic kept you close to him as they jumped into hyperspace, going to the hot desert moon. He was excited, and nervous to unleash his pride and joy. You smirked when you came out of lightspeed, seeing the reddish brown moon below.

You stood next to him formally. He looked down at you with a slight smirk, then, Governor Tarkin picked a small fight with Krennic.

"The Emperor is awaiting my report." Tarkin was cool with his words.

"One would hope that he and Lord Vader might've been here for such and occasion." Krennic retorted.

"And I thought it prudent to save you from any potential embarrassment." Tarkin threw back at him.

Orson turned and glared at the man before walking up to the window. "Your concern's hardly warranted." He was quiet.

"If saying it would only make it so." Tarkin raised his voice, as your lover turned around and faced him.

"All imperial forces have been evacuated and I stand ready to destroy the entire moon." He was slowly loosing his cool.

"That won't be necessary. We need a statement, not a manifesto. The Holy City will be enough for today." Tarkin almost sounded cocky, yet, annoyed.

Orson was angered and it showed on his face. "Target Jedha City. Prepare single reactor ignition." He said it sharply and bluntly.

The officers did as ordered. "Sir we're in position-"

Krennic cut him off. "Fire!" He snapped as he raised his hand, dismissing the man. He turned back to the window.

Another officer, all dressed in black, gave the final order. "Commence primary ignition." He was fairly blunt.

Orson was growing impatient, he was shifting his weight on his feet as he stared out the window. You were tempted to go to him, but you didn't.

They gunners were flicking switchs and pressing buttons, charging the weapon. The schematics started popping up on a screen near the viewport.

Orson was definitely impatient now. He wanted it done, now. He crossed his arms and looked out, leaning back slightly, a smirk on his face. He knew it was time. You lifted your head slightly, showing your confidence and that you were proud.

The Death Star moved infront of the sun, blocking the sun. The lazer started to fire up, red then green. It connected in the dish and then shot down to the city, obliterating it. There was a large blast point, then a ripple effect, destroying the ground, pushing it like a land tsunami.

Krennic was in awe of it. "Oh, its beautiful." He was completely lost in his gaze.

You all watched it destroy everything in it's wake, completely amazed. Debris from the explosion now in open space. Krennic turned, placing his hand on his chin, and strided past Tarkin, purposely brushing against him. You turned to follow behind him. As he got a good distance away from Tarkin, the older man spoke up.
