—MIDORIYA—

"GET UP BEFORE I BLAST YOUR DOOR IN SHITTY DEKU!"

I jolted awake to yelling outside my door, almost falling off the bed from shock. I cradled my head, groaning from the dizzy headache of waking up too fast.

"Bakugou, don't be so loud! He could've been sleeping." Uraraka's voice was muffled by the door. "Deku, are you in there?"

"Yeah, just a sec!" I said, rubbing my head before I got up. I gritted my teeth, stumbling to the desk, opening the drawer full of my clothes. I shrugged on a sweater and jeans, making sure the collar was high enough to hide the mark on my neck from last night. I slightly blushed, remembering Todoroki's smile. Wait, he's not still in here, is he? I looked around, then whispered his name once, making sure he wasn't hiding in my room. I noticed the dark shadows under my eyes, quickly grabbing the foundation Uraraka had lent me a week ago.

"Deku, you better get your ass out here before you regret it!" Kacchan yelled, it wasn't as loud as before.

"Bakugou, stop swearing! You don't want Mr. Aizawa to hear!" Uraraka scolded, which was immediately followed up with a "YOU DON'T TELL ME WHAT TO DO" from Kacchan. I chuckled at their banter, finishing the foundation and walking over to the door. It swung open to reveal a bubbly Uraraka and a testy Pomeranian- I mean Kacchan.

"Finally, Deku. What took you so long?" Kacchan asked.

"It's called getting dressed, Kacchan~Sama." I couldn't close my mouth fast enough to bite back the retort.

"Oh ho ho, someone's begging to be exploded into next week with that tone." He snarled, tensing up. I winced, fighting the urge to cover my face.

"Guys, please don't fight! Bakugou, remember what Kirishima said." Uraraka stepped in between us, staring Kacchan down.

"Well I- He- Deku just- Tch, whatever." Kacchan rolled his eyes, crossing his arms. He didn't look like he wanted to kill me though, and that was a good thing.

"Speaking of Kirishima~San, where is he?" I asked, hoping to get Kacchan's mind off of my remark.

"He's in the kitchen with Todoroki." Kacchan said, still averting his eyes. I fought back a blush, my heart thumping at the mere mention of Todoroki's name. It felt like Kacchan and Uraraka could both stare into my soul and see exactly what happened between Todoroki and I. You'll have to get over that. I chided myself, my own heartbeat drowning out Uraraka's words. I took a few breaths to calm myself, noticing the others were walking off. I followed, walking down two flights of stairs to the kitchen.

The first thing I saw was Todoroki at the stove, talking to Kirishima. Maybe it was the ethereal light coming from the window, or the crisp air of the morning, but Todoroki seemed more attractive than usual. His peppermint-colored hair was tousled with sleep, and his divergent eyes glittered with nonchalant emotion. A gentle smile played across his face, making my heart flutter and filling my stomach with butterflies. It was as if I was in grade school again, crushing on some girl I had seen in class.

"Hey Midoriya! You're awake!"  Kirishima called out, pulling me from my thoughts. Todoroki's gaze met mine as he looked up, and I turned my head as quickly as humanly possible. As I turned, I swore I could see his lips lift into a smirk. Kirishima's steps drew my attention, he was approaching us with a sharp-toothed grin. "I knew you could get him to wake up, Bakubae. All your yelling must've done the trick." Kirishima teased, draping his arms around Kacchan's neck.

"I didn't yell that much..." Kacchan mumbled, looking anywhere but Uraraka and I. I chuckled, forgetting Todoroki for the moment and focusing taking a picture of the two.
