09 . Order

Chan gulped. "In and out, Chan. you can do this." He gave himself a pep talk. "All you gotta do is waltz in there and enjoy your time with your love... you got this."

He breathed in slowly, entering the cafe and smiling upon seeing Minho. Sitting down in front of him, he awkwardly cleared his throat. "H- hi."

Minho waved, before averting his gaze. "Hey... uh, you look amazing today."

"You too." Chan responded, heart pounding in his chest. He couldn't mess this up.

"Uh, how are you today?" Minho asked, deciding he would try lead this conversation.

"I would love to." Chan said dreamily, before gasping. 

"You're good! I'm good... yeah." 

Minho giggled, tilting his head. "That's good."

Chan nodded. They had awkward silence for a while, neither knowing what to say or do next. 

"Uh, let's order now..." Chan said. Minho nodded eagerly. "My treat!"

Chan shook his head quickly. "No! I'll pay... please?"

Minho slowly put his wallet away, and agreed. He couldn't say no to that. They took turns taking their order, Minho soon finding out that Chan was very specific when it came to coffee.

"Chan, sweetie, stick to one type and make it your regular. I suck at remembering this shit." The cashier said, Minho reading the tag to see his name was Seungmin.

Another cashier laughed. "Seungie, relax. The boy just likes experimenting."

Seungmin shook his head. "You'd know about that, Jinnie."

"Hey! I really really like coffee, okay?" Hyunjin said offended, handing a receipt to the customer adding a, "Enjoy!"

Seungmin sighed. "I had to focus harder on your orders than in class, it was harder to remember."

Hyunjin grinned. "Look at where it got us today! Plus, you still love me though!"

"Unfortunately," Seungmin replied.

It was at this moment both boys watching felt very awkward, yet they both knew that they absolutely wanted that. 

"Oh, sorry!" Seungmin giggled. "Got caught off track." He let Chan continue his order, before letting them pay. "Cash or credit?"

"Cash. Thanks Seungmin. Thanks Hyunjin." Chan waved, as Minho wobbled behind him.

"Bye Chan! Bye mysterious date!"

That definitely got both boys to blush.
