Sirius's Serious Girlfriend

Chapter-3

Anastasia's Pov:

By the time today's class was over, it was evening. Alice went to common room with her boyfriend and Marlene went to quidditch grounds. So, it was just Lily and me, and we decided to head to the Great hall.

"Why do you think, Professor McGongall wants us to meet her?" Lily asked, her voice dripping in worry.
"I don't know" I shrugged in reply.
"Do you think she'll give us a Detention?"
"Lily, Don't worry. I'm positive that she won't give us a Detention".
"Really?"
"Trust me, she won't". I replied in a calm way as I didn't want Lily to worry about our meeting with Professor McGongall.
"Ana, we have to do something about Potter and Black. We can't let them prank us like this". She said thinking about the two Gryffindor Jerks.
"You go on a date with Potter, and I'm sure that he and his friend won't trouble us" I said while trying to keep a straight face.
"Anastasia Irene Wilson! Are you kidding me?" My dear Darling, asked me with the look of disbelief.
"I'm not kidding" I tried to stifle my laughter,  but I failed and  soon bursted into fit of laughter as I saw Lily's cherry like red face.
"You enjoy every James troubling Lily moment right?" I just nodded to her question as I was still laughing.
"Ana, will you quit laughing?" Lily asked me with a glare.
I just gave her a nod, because I knew if I would open my mouth to answer I would have again bursted out laughing.

On our way we met Severus Snape, who made several attempts to get Lily talk to him, or Atleast to get Lily look at him once. But, Lily being a Stubborn woman she didn't even glance at him. After being repeatedly failed in getting Lily to Atleast look at his direction, Severus let his gaze fall on me and asked me "Wilson if you don't mind, can you leave us both for awhile?" in a pleading tone, hoping that I would understand.
"Anastasia, tell that Slytherin, that Lily is no longer alive to him". With that tone of hers, anyone could say that she intentionally was rude to him.
"Lily--" I started but she cut me off saying "I'll be in the common room" and swiftly passed by Severus. He was still looking at her retreating figure with the hope that she would come back and listen to him. I felt bad for him and  cleared my throat to bring his attention back.
"Wilson, you know that I didn't mean what I called her that day right?" Severus asked me.
"I know that you didn't mean what you called her that day Severus". It was clearly evident that he was angry, hurt and embarrassed that day but that doesn't mean he can get way by calling her that.
"Then, why can't you explain it to her?"
"It's not my place to explain it to her Severus. She trusted you a lot. She stood against her housemates because of you. But, you lost her trust".
"I apologized her for that".
"Trust means everything Severus. But, once if you lose that trust then, sorry means nothing". I said hoping he would stop pining for her.
He sighed, gave me a curt nod and left towards Dungeon. I resumed my way to Great hall, on my way I heard a distant voice shouting my name. I turned to see Alice, panting hard and running to catch upto me.
"Are you deaf woman?" Alice asked as she caught upto me still panting.
"I'm sorry, I didn't hear you."
"It's okay. Did you say something to Lily, her face was red as Cherry when she returned to common room?" Alice asked me.
"Was just teasing her, and Severus showed up". As soon as I said her I teased Lily, Alice bursted out laughing.

We had reached great hall and Alice is still laughing. Students gave us a weird look, but who cares for those looks, Definitely not us. After what seemed like half an hour, she stopped laughing.
"James isn't that bad, you know. In fact  Marauders aren't that bad, except for Peter" Alice said suddenly.
"How can you say James isn't that bad?" I questioned her ignoring the Marauders part.
"He has got a good sense of humor. Always caring. He always stands up along with Sirius for his housemates. And not to mention, He's hot. If Frank wasn't my boyfriend, I would have proposed James" Alice said dreamily. I chocked on my saliva as Alice said she would have proposed James.
"Wait, until Frank hears this". I said playfully. But the blood drained from her face as soon as she heard me and whispered "please don't, Anastasia" with fear, afraid that I might complain Frank about this.
I just simply chuckled at her reaction and turned towards the entrance of Great hall, expecting Lily to come soon.
"Do you think Lily will ever give a chance to James?" Alice asked with curiosity.
"Feelings change. But, I honestly don't know about Lily" I replied still gazing at the entrance.
"Compared to Snape, James is way far better" she said glancing at Slytherin Table.
Suddenly out of nowhere, the Marauders graced everyone present in the Great hall with their presence. Some girls were giggling and were twirling their hair at the sight of them.
"Speak of the devil, and here he comes" I muttered under my breath and turned towards Alice.
"Hullo Wilson!" Potter greeted me as he sat beside me and threw his arm around my shoulder. I just gave him a tight lipped smile before turning back to Alice.
"Are you excited for your first Detention of this year, Love?" Black asked me with a smirk on his face. How badly I wanna wipe that smirk off your face Black, I thought that  to myself, rolled my eyes at his question and again turned towards Alice who was now talking to Remus.

The time has passed fast and it was dinner time already. Lily came and glared at Potter who blew a kiss to her, but to everyone's surprise she didn't curse Potter and had her dinner silently.

Soon the dinner was over and we both were standing in front of McGongall's chamber.
Lily took a deep breath and knocked on her door. "Come in" was McGongall's reply and we let ourselves in.
"Ladies what was that in the class today? Despite being warned, you both had the audacity to misbehave in my calss?" McGongall asked strictly. I looked at Lily who seemed like her tongue was tied.
"Umm.. Professor, it was not us. It was Black and Potter who jinxed our bench and we fell down. We are really sorry for the disturbance we caused " I apologized whole heartedly and Lily nodded in agreement. McGongall's eyes were glued on us, searching for the sincerity in our eyes. After few minutes, she sighed and nodded her head. I let out my breath, that I didn't know I was holding.
"Miss Evans, you may leave now. But, Miss Wilson I need to have a word with you". Professor McGongall said. Lily gave me a assuring look and left.
"Miss Wilson, have a seat first. Don't be tensed. This isn't about Detention anymore" she said, her voice more calm than before. I gave her a nod.
"How's everything at home, Anastasia?"
"Everything's fine, professor."
"Any recent encounter of Martina with Dark Lord?" She asked me with concern.
"No professor". She seemed relieved with my answer, I guess she gave me a nod and dismissed me.

On my way back to common room, I met Remus who was doing his Prefect Duty. We came across a broom closet, in which we heard muffled voices. Remus went and opened the door of the closet, and the two people in the broom closet were Black and his girlfriend who were busy snogging each other. The sight was disgusting.
"Disgusting Pigs" I muttered as soon I saw them. Black and his new girlfriend came out of the broom closet as they were caught now.
"Sirius, you can't go on snogging whoever you want everytime during the curfew hours and can't expect me to not to take the house points" Remus said his voice dripping in annoyance.
"Moony, forgive me this one time and please don't take points". Black said in a pleading tone.
"Okay" Remus said excusing that jerk.
"No, Remus you have to take points from both the houses or else I'll complain to Professor McGongall about this, and it's not like this is the first time you have caught Black in the broom closet so don't excuse this pig this time" I warned him, while gritting my teeth at my last comment.
"You are right. 10 points from Gryffindor and Ravenclaw" Remus said as he had no choice.
I just smiled at Remus, smirked at Black who had a look of disbelief on his face and left from there. "Moony what was that?" I hear Black whisper shouting at Remus. The look on Black's face when Remus detected the points, God I laughed to myself and walked through the portrait of fat lady. 

 Lily was soundly sleeping, when I reached our dormitory. And I was hell tired too, so I slept off as soon as I changed into PJ's.
